Has Anyone Tried "Natural" Hair Styling Cream from Israel?

My hair has been dry lately so I'm trying new products and upgrading my hair dryer. I've been using B&B styling cream and that may be part of the problem.

I read good things online about "Natural", 5 stars. However... the directions etc. are all in what I assume is Hebrew. I'm guessing it would be about the same amount used. Even though it's said to be natural, it has silicone in it. I don't know what to think of that.

Noel, I don't know why but this just cracked me up. Maybe someone who knows Hebrew can translate for you.

But seriously...I've been sulfate- and silicone-free for more than year becaue I use a modification of the culy girl method.

So basically, I'm of no help whatsover. But I loved your post.

P.S. The "natural" label means zilch.

It is kind of a funny/odd post, LOL. My daughter has me trying sufate free, but if silicone is commonly added, I didn't know that... color me surrised.

Noel, there isn't a consensus about silicone. Many people believe that most silicones can build up on the hair and are not easily removed with sulfate-free shampoos.

The curly girl method recommends not using silicone styling products. But certainly many people love the effect of silicone in such products.

Yes, I just read that silicone can build up on the hair. Hmmm... What I didn't know is that silicone is found naturally in nature, in rocks for one thing. Who knew? I guess they can call it Natural.

Noel, not at all curly, lol.

Essentially, it's a way of dealing with curls instead of trying to make your hair straight. I have very curly and often frizzy hair that I always battled.

Now I embrace them, if you pardon such curly talk-speak. I don't use any heat but let my hair dry naturally. I've learne what products and what methods help with curl definition and reduction of frizz.

suzy, have you seen the new reports on, and pix of, Deva curls? I saw a great article the other day but can't find it. The style expresses what you're saying, go with the curls and make it beautiful. You might want to google: Deva hairstyles.

I don't know how they do it, but the curls look so soft and silky/shiny.

Thanks, Noel. I think it's all a matter of how talented a stylist is. I happen to have lucked out and found one that intuitively knows how do trim my hair. Whenever I mention something I've read on naturallycurly.com, she listens carefully and tells me whether it would or would not work on my crazy hair.

I actually prefer that to someone who is trained in one method.

Noel, silicon (no E on the end) is found in nature (rocks and sand). Silicone (E on the end) is a man-made polymer. Silicon is an element found in silica (sand, quartz). However, to make silicone, silicon is extracted from silica (it rarely exists by itself in nature) and passed through hydrocarbons to create a new pokymer.
