Walmart Beauty Box just shipped (what's in it?)

I just got an e-mail the walmart beauty box has been shipped. Has anyone recieved theirs? I want to know what is in it. Seems last two boxes were not that good as the first one.

Couldn't find spoilers, just one and it was the under 30 box. Will let you know when I get mine.

I just recieved an email too. Very excited to see what's in this shipment. I'll post as soon as I get them both. I have an under 30 account an an over 30.

I am the over 30 box and I was hoping someone got theirs. If this is another bad box then I will move over to under 30. Last box so many changed over to under 30 seems they get a better box.

I'm over 30, but switched to the under 30 box as a last-ditch attempt to give them a chance.

If this one is as bad as the last one, I'm cancelling.

Desi, where did you find a spoiler? The only one I found says it's for the Summer box, but it's actually the Spring box.

NYC Susan, the spoiler was on Youtube. Really surprised there weren't more. Believe me, if that one is indicative of what's going out, you were smart to cancel (and I will be sorry that I didn't).

Everything I've seen on YouTube looks very similar to the Spring box. At least two videos are exactly the same as the Spring box, and another one has some of the same items, but not all. So either people are confused, or Walmart is repeating a lot of things. I'm not getting a good feeling about this. :-(

I didn't cancel yet - I changed to under-30 to see if that would help. The Summer box will be make-it or break-it for me. Honestly, I subscribe to Ipsy & Birchbox, so I won't miss the Walmart box at all.

(I had a lot of trouble finding this thread. These new forums are not user-friendly!) :-(

Susan, I was afraid there might be a slim chance that they would make the over 50 box better this time around than the under 30 to make up for the inequity of the last one. We can compare notes!

I get IPSY, cancelled Birchbox. Not always happy with IPSY either but worth the money and the anticipation.

BTW, hate the new forums right along with you!

Woo hoo, the edit function finally works for me cause it sure ewasn't available yesterday when I tried to use it.

So frustrating! I just had to sign on AGAIN, and nearly lost this thread again. I'm not sure why I have to sign in over & over. It certainly doesn't make me inclined to post!

I agree - I like the anticipation part of getting beauty boxes, and usually I'm pretty happy with Ipsy & Birchbox. I had a rough start with Ipsy, but it's been better recently.

Yes, let's compare notes. :-) I'm keeping my expectations low. This should be interesting!!

So just received my under 30 box and it's great!! I got a sample of the John Masters Sea Salt beachy waves, a new Relvon HD Lipstick in bright red (giving to my daughter) samples sizes of Olay Total Effects 7 eye cream, Caress Body Wash, Neutrogena Sunscreen "Sport" SPf 70 and Clear Scalp and Repair therapy shampoo (says it's for anti dandruff - looks like it would be ok to use while traveling. For $5, I'm really pleased this time!

I got mine today, and it's similar to yours. I really laughed when I saw the card that said it's "uniquely you". Not quite! I don't have dandruff, and I can't use scented body wash. I have received that same body wash 3 times now. :-( I also hated the lipstick color (I got an orangey one, not bright red). It's a color I would never use, and I don't know anyone who would! So not quite "uniquely me"!! :-)

Having said that, I will say that it is a big improvement over the last box Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised. Every item was not a winner, but it's a decent assortment and actually worth more than $5, which is all I ask! And no foil packets!!!

That's interesting because HayJen and I got the under-30 box, and it seems we all got the same things. Maybe they didn't differentiate this time?

Susan, it does seem we are all getting the same box. Probably less dissent that way. I also feel it's probably more fair than the box where the under 30's got great stuff and we didn't!

Good to know we are in the more "experienced" demographic.

I think the YouTuber had the Spring box even though they said it was the Summer one.

It's probably a good idea to just send the same to everyone. Less work for them, too!

It seems they may have learned a little something from all the complaining we all did because this box was a huge improvement over the last one. It would have been hard to be worse!

I'm way over 30 too! LOL at the "uniquely you". With the exception of the shampoo and lipstick which my dd can use, overhaul a big improvement. No foil packets!! And hopefully it's the same box for everyone this time because I'm sure they got major complaints about the over 30 box last time around. I little something for everyone and at $5 bucks, it's a good deal IMO..
