Dumping your WEN ??

In light of the class action lawsuit being brought against WEN, how many of you will quit using/send back your WEN products -- or do you feel safe using it?

I've been using Wen since 2008 without issues. I think the lawsuit has no merit. Tort lawyers can be greedy and this one has a long road ahead of her. I'd never throw my Wen out.

I'm not dumping anything. I just bought 4 big bottles and will probably order the next new seasonal when it is introduced this summer. Consumers have an obligation to know what they're using, if it's going to be a trigger for any allergic reaction. With this lawsuit, no one knows if the plaintiffs had anything else going on. I am perfectly at ease using it - no worries at all. WEN helped me to regrow hair. I've been using it exclusively for 3 1/2 years and will continue to use it as long as I can afford it.

Why would people that get good results dump it? People that don't, stop buying it because it does not work for them. I doubt this lawsuit will have much effect of sales. There are no studies proving hair loss - or not.

Why would I do that? Just because someone files a lawsuit doesn't mean my hair is going to start falling out. Lol. I've been using it for years and plan to continue. If it ever stops working for me, then I'll evaluate my options.

I'm going to use mine up and be done with it, but not because of losing hair. I have thick hair so not an issue with me. My problem is I hate having to use up water for 10 extra minutes trying to rinse Wen out of my hair after cleansing. And still, after a day or so, my hair feels heavy and like I didn't get the residue out.

My $ account will thank me I'm sure.

Hello, SherryBW and welcome.

My advice for people who are concerned about how their hair will react to WEN and they just bought, try using it as a regular conditioner (putting it on your hair after it's been shampooed). That way, people won't feel like they wasted their money and they won't have to be concerned about their hair and scalp.

I know that Chaz said that's not how you're supposed to use WEN, but if people are concerned about what it will do to their hair, they're probably not going to use it as it's instructed anyway.

Or they could always return it and get a refund.

It doesn't cause me a reaction so why would I quite using it? Heck no, I am not giving up my summer honey peach- it is the best hair product ever!

I love my Wen - I've been using it for years and never experienced any hair loss or irritation. Actually, I'm losing less hair with Wen than when I used regular shampoo, and I use most of the formulas.

IMO, if it works great, if it causes issues for you, like other beauty products, stop using it. I did that with Suave Coconut Shampoo and no longer have swollen lymph glands and a rash under my arms where the swollen glands are. I used it once, had the reaction, stayed away from it and the other new product I used that same night, waited till all the reaction was gone, about a week or two, and tried just that one product. I had the same reaction, so I eliminated it from my house. NO BIG DEAL. People that continue to use products that they suspect are harming them aren't too bright in my book, especially if they don't bother to go to the doctor or even ask a friend about it. If your hair is falling out, then I would suspect something that I was using on my hair. I would ask myself what was new, and stop that product to determine if it was the cause. Simple elimination of new products/allergens. I do realize that not everyone has this logic, but Google has helped lots of people that don't have logic, common sense or a rational mind.

Dumping my WEN??? God NO! WEN has given me the best hair I've ever had. Although, I've had friends claim it wasn't working for them; they nicely have gifted me what they are no longer using. I love my WEN and won't be without it !

Why on earth would I dump my WEN because of this? I've tried many different shampoos, many because of glowing recommendations here about how hydrating or volumizing or incredible so-and-so's product is. I give it a shot, because WEN is a bit pricey and if I could find something that delivers what WEN has promised me and delivered for less I'd be tickled. NOTHING else has delivered. NOTHING.

WEN has delivered. period.

This is how I ended up using it. I have very hard water, and using Wen alone did not work for me, but as a conditioner it's fabulous.

I wouldn't stop using it because of a lawsuit. I'm skeptical of the whole thing and will be curious to see what comes of it. Texas is an interesting venue for this to play out. As of now, though, I haven't experienced or heard anything that would make me afraid to use Wen.

I'm not going to quit using a product that has worked well for me for 3 years because of some frivolous lawsuit.
