I never see Jamie use women with deeper skin tones- deeper than tan- in her makeup demonstrations. Are IT Cosmetics powders and concealers really for all skin tones?

If you have deeper skin tone, I would advise that you go to Ulta to try on the shades from this line. Some of the products work for deeper skin and some don't show up on our skin. I was not able to find a match for my skin tone. I am between the tan and deep, so, neither the foundation of concealor or CC products work for me. Now, I am able to use mally's products because she has expanded her shade range in her foundation products.

in my opinion, her foundations are not for women of color. I have ordered her kits and tried the Celebration Foundation in the deep I believe. That was the worst foundation ever!! If you are paler than Beyonce it may work but my honey brown skin turned silver upon applying her products. Jamie needs to get with the times and expand her line but until she does, I will spend my money elsewhere!

If you have a darker skin tone than Brenda or Stacy, the Celebration Foundation will not work. Her deepest shade is not that deep.

Thanks for the feedback ladies. I'll check her products out at Ulta to see if they'll work for me. And yes I appreciate the fact that Mally cosmetics include a broader spectrum of skin tones.

They use one African American model on the IT demos as if we all come in the one shade. I've come to the realization that many of the lines on QVC Are not marketed to African Americans or others with deeper skin tones. Out of 12 models on a recent demo, for IT they had one African American model.

I use the CC+. When I put it on alone, I could have used it but I felt the physical SPF makes it turn out a little lighter. I don't apply it with the brush but use my fingers so I put a dot of my old foundation (Mary Kay Medium Coverage liquid) on my fingers and mix it before dotting it on my face. Perfect and I get the 50+ SPF. Don't bother with the Hello Light product though. I love her tightline r which obv has nothing to do with skin and her brushes are to die for.

I do not use her foundation, because I am between tan and Deep and I refuse to purchase two colors to blend when I can use other lines that make more shade colors!!!!!I do like a lot of It Cosmetics products, just not the foundation.......They do use Aleisha for the Deep shade quite a bit to show that it covers her acne scars, but they do need to come out with more shades of foundation.....

Of course they're not for all skin tones. I can't fine one I'm happy with and I'm closer to the other end of the spectrum, somewhere between Porcelain and Light.
