I have a few IT products that I love and will continue to use. I didn't order the TSV. Sounds like a lot of people are not too thrilled with it this time around.

I have dry mature skin and am a light to medium leaning more toward the lighter side. I am not as fair as Jackie G, more maybe like Marybeth or a tad lighter?

I got my IT TSV at 5 this evening, Tuesday, so used it before going out at 6. It is a bit dewy, not greasy or anything like that but not totally matte or flat like her regular one I had and gave away. I used my fingers to apply. It was hard to apply/spread but think that is because I used so very little. I will mix it tomorrow, Wednesday with my moisturizer and see how it is.

I am glad I got medium, is good for me and just gives me a tad bit of color. The server we had tonight said I looked good,. said I had some color and did I get more sleep since I had complained about not sleeping. It doesn't stay tacky on me like the original did but than as said, I didn't use much at all, so very little. The blush/highlighter and bronze compact are mostly good. The highlighter I like(used under brow bone) as well as the bronzer. The bronzer isn't at all dark but than I didn't use much of this either so it just gave me a tad of summer color on cheeks, nose and near hairline on my forehead. I used the bronzer late night, midnight. I used the blush first at 5 PM(didn't last) and while it is okay, not crazy about the color, prefer more of a pink or soft rose. This is an odd color I think for me anyway. The eye shadow trio, very small/tiny, are all nice colors. I used the darkest(not dark) chocolate using it wet as a liner for my top eye lid and worked well. It is still on now at 2:45 AM and I put it on at 5 PM so happy with that. This color gives a soft chocolate look, not at all harsh and adds just enough to see a bit of color and makes the eye area look nicer.

With this I used the IT lipgloss that came in that last TSV I got and gave the CC foundation away and used my Mally deep olive pencil for lining my lower lash line.

so, will mix my moisturizer with this CC foundation Wednesday and see how it is as far as ease of applying. Being I have dry skin that may also be a reason so will see and tell you tomorrow night.

I must update. I tried today mixing the CC foundation with my moisturizer hoping it would be easier to spread, was a tiny bit but not much.

While the color is good, medium, it just goes on too hard, hard to spread on my dry skin and hate something I have to pull and tug with.

I don't care for the blush at all. I do like the bronzer and illumination color in with the bronzer and blush but wouldn't use the blush at all, not a nice color for me.

While the eye shadows are nice neutral colors, all I would use is the chocolate but isn't a favorite color chocolate or brown, prefer a tad darker since I would only use it wet as a liner.

So, for the price I am unfortunately sending this back.

For those that like this CC foundation to start with I am sure you will like this newer version even better, not heavy feeling, didn't stay sticky/tacky like the first one, not flat matte but gives just enough of a dewy look to look more natural than the original one did. I just wish it was easier to apply for me. I don't know what makes it like this for me and wonder if anyone else has this problem that has dry skin?

I really wanted to love this.

I did try on one side of my face today, fingers on one side and my Real Techniques expert face brush on the other side, no difference. I used her brush on the last TS with the larger size of this CC foundaiton cream but it wasn't this version, more flat and matte which I don't like on me. I did like the look of this one but don't like the way I had to tug or pull with my fingers or a brush to be able to spread it.

This may be because my face is very dry and was hoping someone else would have this same problem and a solution but doesn't seem to be so, packed it up.

I should give up with IT, other than her lipgloss and brow pencil none of the other products work for me but I do like watching her shows, too bad they don't work well for me.

I didn't have any problem with this CC Foundation being too thick or not blending, it blended easily for me but I moisturized my face well. Are you using a primer? I assume you're moisturizing well since you say you have dry skin, but maybe a primer would help too? Just a suggestion in case you want to give it another shot.

I used the whole kit this morning. I tried applying the CC cream with just my fingers, sparingly due to fear of the frosted look. I ended up using a Real Tech expert face brush. Better. And not frosty. Everything in the disc was fine. Not earth shattering. The e/s on me are not pigmented. Not a bad thing, but not that noticeable. The brushes are nice. All in all, it's a decent kit. A $200 kit? I think not. The CC cream reminded me (even the smell) of a BB tinted moisturizer I've had for a couple years (bought before I learned they test on animals - no more BB for me). The e/s also remind me of BB - transparent. I'm glad the CC cream is not as frosty/shiny/glittery as I thought.

I tried both ways with this, fingers and my RT brush.

On me I would call this a sort of damp glow like when you wash your face and haven't dried it yet, not shiny, not greasy looking, just a sort of damp glow(good thing for someone like me with dry skin) so that wasn't the problem, liked the look when on but with my dry skin I hate to have to really pull or tug to apply foundation so, sent it back.

This is my first time using It CC cream and I loved the look I got without having to use a brush for application. I used Bare Minerals Original Mineral Veil as a finishing powder over it and got the nice soft glow look. I think the whole TSV gives a nice, soft spring look like Jamie said on air. It's too bad it's getting such poor reviews.
