It just screams low quality

MaryBeth came closest to looking natural, maybe be cause it was had dark roots. She also managed to get some of that super fake sheen off of it.

A wig would be fun but I can barely wear a scrunchie all day without getting a headache.

I would not want something that is that obvious.

It does look like a wig. I clicked on the homepage this morning to get to Lunchtime Specials, and saw the photos of models for the TSV. Without knowing in advance, or reading the description, I immediately said to myself, "Oh, the TSV is a wig, then".

I sometimes see some ladies wearing wigs when I am out and about. It does not look natural. The sheen and I guess the part, gives it away. It looks like a wig from the shopping channels. But it may be better than what nature has given them, so if they like it that's what counts.

I felt Racheal Bosing looked terrible in that wig!! I couldn't believe it was her. She is so attractive with her short dark hair and those black glasses she wears. Classy This wig made her look goofy. It was the bob or longer one. Just awful on the poor woman. Racheal really took one for the team!

Was this the same one Antonella wore today? I thought that was just awful, and yes, shiny and synthetic looking. There are some wonderful wigs out there, probably the best are human hair. I have seen some that are synthetic but very well done.

It's the 'part' in these wigs that look so tell-tale and ill constructed---too thick and no 'scalp' effect showing through.

All bad wigs look unnatural, I have seen some hair that is stunning and beautifully styled an then you find out it's a wigg.

A nice wig would be fun but don't want that unnatural look, the one I would buy would have to look realistic.

My beloved mother was a hairdresser.

She had many human hair wigs which never appeared to look like wigs.

She would cut them and style them to suit her face, and personal preferences, and always said "There are wigs, and then there are wigs, and you get what you pay for.

She also said every wig should be cut and styled if need be to suit the face of whomever will be wearing it.

Unfortunately this Today's Special looks like a cheap fake wig, and I do not believe that is the impression any woman wishes to convey when wearing any wig.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing! QVC has a wig as a TSV. Didn't they go out of fashion in the sixties? It's something my Grandmother's used to wear. I understand if you have a hair loss problem wearing a wig....but seriously...How many do they expect to sell today? smh

I agree that most of the hosts looked bad in the "pageboy". But, the models looked great in the wigs they had on - all looked natural to me anyways. I caught MB in the blond one and she looked very nice and I didn't realize it was a wig until I caught the presentation. Read one review and the customer said she had bought this before and really liked it, but was returning it 'cause she needed it a little longer. Jayne Brown looked great on the video. And, many colors are gone; so, a lot of people must think they're good wigs. I'd like one just for the times either someone comes over unexpectedly or have to run out to the store and I'm having one of those bad hair days when even a baseball cap won't really work - maybe I'm the only one this happens to, but a wig would come in handy then. So, I'm on the fence...

Wigs and hairpieces were huge in the late 60's - early 70's. That's when "the Fall" came into vogue. Everyone was wearing fake hair back then!

Enter the late 90's - 2000's and hair extensions, pieces, braids, fake bangs, etc. etc. They aren't just for women with thinning hair at all. Hollywood's elite uses fake hair/wigs and pieces ALL the time!!

The Iman wigs on HSN looked very nice. Of course, they cost a lot more too.

I got a Ken Paves wig from QVC awhile back. I was thrilled when I got it. It's very pretty.

The color is great but it also feels like I'm wearing a hat. I don't think I could wear it much now the weather is getting warmer.

It is great for a fun change or a really bad hair day. I do like it.

I have seen my fair share of awful looking wigs. You could tell a mile away that they were wigs.

I don't know if that was all the person could afford, or if they actually thought that they looked good in them.

Wig "hair" doesn't move the same way that natural hair does.

That's a dead give-away for me every time.

I see Raquel Welch wearing her wigs in her interviews and she looks gorgeous! I think that's what it takes. Just like what your dear mother did, style it so it looks natural.

It is really a shame that so many women are unwilling to try a wig.I was pleased that QVC was able to bring a decent wig at an affordable price point with options!There are alot of things that can be done to make a wig less"wiggy".Just a bit of online research and a trip to your stylist for tips and a trim.QVC is allowing women to afford hair pieces and wigs where before that may not have been a possibility for some folks! Having been a professional stylist for over 20 years,I think this TSV is great!! Allowing women options to try something new at a good price!Some folks are not born with a headfull of hair or due to health reasons LOSE it.Don't knock until you have tried it!!! I WEAR WIGS OFTEN.....always get compliments.....they are a life saver some days....

Thanx, capecdcat1. Your post made me feel better to take a chance on this wig! Even if it's just for that occasional bad hair day or super windy day, it'll be worth it.
