Face Powder for aging skin that doesn't cake or make your pores look bigger?

I need suggestions please on some Face Powders for aging skin that do not cake or make your pores look bigger? Powder to cut the shine on my face throughout the day. Do I look for something without talc?

Make up Forever HD ( high definition) face powder, loose or compact is wonderful; it actually blurs lines, wrinkles and pores. It's white in the co gainer but brushes on clear, and it's non drying to the skin.

There is one by Tarte that is very good. It is white and doesn't cake up. I got it as a sample from Sephora.

It's not a powder, but I have tried lots of powders.

I recommend Mally Poreless Face Defender.

It "sets" makeup, diminishes pores, and takes away shine.

Love it!

For me and my pores...IT's powder and the brush made to go with it are my go too.

Also JM's is a another good one, and I do have large pores.

Yes, e.l.f. HD finishing powder is identical to makeup forever's. Available at Target, Harmon drug and they have their own website. ($3.99 vs. $24.00)

Their prices are ridiculous too, far less expensive than even the average drugstore priced items!

That's their Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder. It is very nice. You may also want to try the NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder in either loose or pressed versions.

Thanks! Can't wait to try it! I think I'm going to pick up their powder brush, too. I've had great luck with the e.l.f. brushes.

I used Mally's Face Defender briefly, and I did love it for keeping the shine at bay, but it gave me little bumps around my nose after a while. I guess since it's really just a blend of silicones, my skin had some sort of aversion to it. Working an 8 hour day, I only had to touch up once, maybe about halfway into my shift. It was great. But, when I quit using it, the bumps went away, so I knew I had to leave it behind.

I second the Tarte Smooth Operator powder. It makes your skin look flawless. Not much for shine control, though, at least for me. I carry their pressed version for touch-ups throughout the day. I'm still on the hunt for that HG mattifying powder that doesn't look ghostly, gives a "flawless" finish, and won't break me out. Tarte's powder ticks all my boxes, but I wish it kept me oil-free longer.

A similar product (which is the one I use -- haven't tried Mally's yet) is Skinn's Plasma Flawless Finish. Takes the sunscreen shine off without matting me out like a MAC salesperson, kind of blurs the lines and pores (silicone) and lasts pretty much all day. Purse-friendly compact, too. I assume it's essentially the same as Mally's. I've never found a powder that doesn't look like powder, some less horrifying than others, but all doing the "powder thing".

I like IT's Bye Bye Pores, and Laura Mercier's...from the drugstore I like Rimmel's Stay Matte and the Physicians Formula...also Maybelline's Dream powder...

Right now I am using Ben Nye's Yellow powder, which is very good, it mattifies without looking chalky or cakey, and you can use it under your eyes to help set concealer if you need to..I like it a lot, but I also like Makeup4ever's powder and Mineral Veil.........

My favorite are the Estee Lauder face powders. You can go to their website and check the ratings and comments. Those last me for months.
