topic All Day Chemist Retin-a cream help! in Beauty

I purchased the .05 cream and .1 microgel Retin- a from all day chemist - for acne/aging skin. I started with the .05 cream every other day to prevent redness/peeling and it seemed fine after 2 applications so I've been using every day now for 3 days. I have had no peeling, no redness... Acne is unchanged (I know it isn't long enough to see improvement there though) and no sun sensitivity either. I remember using this maybe 30 years ago and having peeling skin which is why I was very reluctant to try it again. Well now I'm reading all of these threads about "fake" prescriptions and that doesn't bother me (it is a generic tretinoin so not a patented product anyway) but the quality does. Has anyone here found the ADC Retin- a to be weaker or not as effective? Or maybe my skin has just toughened up over the years and I'm able to tolerate it better now than when I was a teen. Just looking for opinions from those of you who have tried this and the US made version. Thanks.
