topic Drugstore foundation SHOUT OUT in Beauty

I just have to share my current favorite foundation, if you're looking to try something new! I am LOVING Maybelline's Dream Smooth Mousse foundation. It is a cream foundation, designed for those with normal to dry skin. (Not to be confused with their Dream Matte, which is for oilier skin, and was too drying for me).

It goes on like velvet. It leaves a dewy finish, but I do put just a bit of loose powder over my T-area. I use a foundation brush with it, or my skunk brush. It has medium coverage (I still need to use a concealer if I have a blemish) and it really gives you an 'airbrushed' look. I am light-medium in skintone, NW20 in MAC, Fairly Medium in BE, and I wear 150 in this - Classic Ivory, and it is a PERFECT match.

I tend to be a bit of a foundation snob, and have a few high end brands that I occasionally reach for. However, I just realized last week that I bought my *third* one of these. That, for me, is almost unheard of - I'm usually so fickle.

If you're interested, keep an eye out for the drugstore circulars this weekend - Maybelline is almost always on sale, somewhere!
