OK, first off I cannot find this shade (SWEET) anywhere, looked all over

Anyone have SWEET & like it? It's a light pink with A LOT of gold shimmer in it...wish I could try it but once I do it's mine

I would return it. You will have to pay the postage and eat the cost of the original shipping. Contact the seller and explain that you thought you were getting Celebrated. Usually there is a drop-down box where you pick the shade if they have more than one shade for sale.

If it makes you feel better, I bought and returned Celebrated. I have very light skin, and you can barely see this color on. It's got almost no color pay-off, but it's matte. I've never heard of Sweet either. You might want to get to Ulta and see the shades in person. They never look the same on as in the pan.

I found the listing. The seller obviously made a mistake, naming one shade in the title and one in the text. Contact them via the eBay link so everything is documented. Explain your situation and ask them to take it back. Since it's their error, you should demand that they cover the return shipping and not deduct their restocking fee. If they don't agree to your terms, contact eBay and start a claim with them for receiving an item not as described. You will have to pay to return the product (with tracking), but eBay will charge that to the seller and you'll get it back with your refund.

AnnMarie, I have been using the AC blushes since the came out and I can't recall a shade called Sweet. Can't locate it anywhere either. Does the back of the compact actually have that name? There was a collection with sweet in the title but the blush was called Magic.

Thanks JLF, it was totally a mistake on their end, I e-mailed the seller, we'll see what happens

You know Desi I googled this SWEET shade like a mad woman, I checked ALL over...all the stores also....could not find it!

Yes, it says SWEET on the back of the compact, looks like a legitimate Tarte AC 12 hour blush

I did try some on a Q-tip...a sparkly golden peachy pink

If I could figure how to get a picture from my trac phone to the computer I will so you can see it

Tarte blushes have been touch-and-go for me. I had trouble settling on color because they all looked too 'obvious' on me. A makeup artist at Sephora, after trying them all on me, finally said I should try another brand. The best one she could find was from Lancome, but .... that brand is not for me. So, I now use Laura Geller blushes.

The seller wrote me back that he will give me a $10 partial refund & I can keep the blush OR send back for full refund & they pay for shipping back

I will have to think about what to do, do I like color enough to keep??, not sure yet

AnnMarie, that was a really good compromise offer. Not sure what I would do either. I kept one blush off the bay and it's super sparkly and pink. Probably should have returned it, but it's the shade I always thought looked good in the pictures. Still wonder where Sweet came from? Let us know what you decide to do, and a photo would be great if you can (I want to see the mystery beast)!

I have a perplexing issue with another Tarte product on ebay. It is one of their bronzers and is listed with a few sellers as the color "Rose Bronze" Problem is, I can't find that shade available anywhere else as a selection. The only shades that I have been able to find (in this particular multi colored bronzer by Tarte) are pink bronze or peach bronze - I have checked the Tarte site and here on QVC.

Kind of makes you wonder if there might be a Tarte imitator out there since this blush and now this bronzer have names that seemingly are not authentic Tarte colors. I think I will email one of these sellers and inquire where they got this "Rose Bronze" shade name from and explain that Tarte doesn't seem to sell one in this color. At least I will find out where the name originated from as multiple sellers on ebay are offering it.

A mystery as to where "Sweet" and "Rose Bronze" originated from, eh?

Desi - I was really puzzled over this bronzer situation last night as I just couldn't find this "Rose Bronze" name anywhere. Then when I saw this thread, it just added more mystery. If it was just one seller offering this color bronzer, I wouldn't be as perplexed but it is a few of them so they obviously have gotten this name from someplace.

Then when the OP wrote that the "Sweet" name was actually on the back of the blush she got from an ebay seller, it did make me wonder how that could occur - seems that the name "Rose Bronze" must actually be on these actual bronzer compacts too.

I will be sure to post back when I hear from a seller - I might email more than one of them. I was actually planning on doing that anyway as I am really interested in buying one of these Tarte bronzers but obviously needed to know more about the shade they are selling.

I can answer one question, the one of rose bronze for Wackers. It was in an AD by Tarte that had this bronzer, Pink Bronze, in the original TSV: A257216. Peach and Rose Bronze came in the following two shipments. This was last year. I have the pics of the following AD shipments on my other computer. I believe it came with the liquid foundation that you dipped the brush into a well of foundation. It actually wasn't a bad foundation, just not the best delivery system. It wasn't the best of their AD shipments, but for some reason I never cancelled.

As for sweet blush, no clue there! It may have been in a previous Christmas TSV. Did you ask the seller where it was from? That would likely solve it for you, and those of us who are also curious!

Katmary - thank you so much for shedding light on one of these Tarte products. I have not heard back from sellers yet so was still wondering. That makes perfect sense too why the price is so competitive on these bronzers (as compared to buying them here or on Tarte) since they were part of a kit. And why multiple sellers have this color.

I actually think I would prefer a "rose bronze" over a peach as peach is a real hit or miss with my coloring. I was concerned that the pink would be too light. So now I feel very comfortable ordering the "Rose Bronze" knowing it really is (or was) a genuine Tarte.

Thanks so much for solving one mystery - it very well may turn out that Sweet came about the very same way, in an A/D order somewhere along the line. Good to know for future reference too.

I called Tarte & asked about the SWEET shade...she wasn't sure but thought it might have been in the chic to cheek 2014 Holiday special...well, I checked & it wasn't in that kit...

I asked about the Rose Bronze & she thought it was in a kit also...didn't know which one

I didn't tell her I got from e-bay, that would have went off well LOL....just told her I liked the shades & if she knew where they came from so I could buy more...she said to look at colors they have now for similar shades

So the SWEET mystery continues, I will e-mail the seller if they know where it came from....I still haven't made up my mind yet to keep or not, told myself I will by tomorrow

Wackers, now you know it's okay to get a rose-bronze and know it's legit!

AnnMarie, that leaves us still hanging on the origin of your mystery blush! Too bad Tarte doesn't have some kind of archive with all the shades listed. It's a full-size, right? There are many kits with mini size blushes with different names, and those I don't know. For the price though it should be full size. It's strange though not impossible I guess to have the only one anywhere. Does the label and package look legit? Is it lettered in gold on the top or just stamped? That would help us narrow down when it was made. You'd think if it were a dupe, which I don't (yet) they would dupe a known and sought after color that exists!

It must be legit, gold raised lettering, solid pink compact (no gold swirls like some)

They said it was a $26.00 value, FULL SIZE, GRRR

Now that I know what I paid for it I am sending back!

Ok, I think this mystery is solved (even though I still can't find it on-line) , total rip off in more than one way LOL

AnnMarie, finally it's solved! ITA, send it back. The price of the full size is 26.00 everywhere. The minis were in kits with 3 or 4 and they are little. I personally don't think the formula is as good as the full-sizes, although the colors are beautiful. If the seller said one mini is 26.00 retail they are being underhanded or just not knowledgeable. The way you say he worded it, he is being tricky - yes, the full size is 26.00 retail, but what he sent isn't full size!
