Beauty Auto Delivery Plans Going Up In Price?

I was looking through my auto delivery plans and noticed all of the future shipments have gone up in price?

BareMinerals Chandelight Glow was 49.98 the day of the TSV. Future auto delivery prices are 52.98 for Feb., July., and Oct.

Laura Geller Black Tie Affair was 49.98 the day of the TSV. Future auto delivery prices are 52.98 for April and Aug.

Tarte Be Your Tarteist was 59.96 the day of the TSV. Future auto delivery prices are 62.96 for June and October.

I thought by purchasing the TSV you were locking those prices in on future shipments, and now I see they have all gone up in price. Is anyone else having this problem with future ADs. It looks like if I don't skip any of these shipments, I will have to call CS and see what is going on.

Is that price including the $3 shipping charge? All the prices you mentioned have a $3 increase.

Either that or just another way QVC is sneaky about making about for the "reduced" shipping. If this is the case, that isn't right because they say you lock into the price on AD shipments, unless that has changed now too along with the "reduced s/h".

That is not adding in the shipping charges. That is just the price before shipping and tax.

That's messed up. The price should be the same as the day you ordered the item(s). I would call CS for sure.

I just called them last month about the Laura Geller Hat Box TSV. They charged me $18 more than what I paid for it on the day of the TSV. I have one more AD left and it is actually now $21 more than it was the day of the TSV. If I get this one, I will have to call them again. When I did call, she had no idea why they were charging me so much for it and they did refund my money and gave me a free shipping coupon that I could use on my next order. I am just glad I caught it.

I know! I hate to say it, but if this keeps up, I will no longer be buying the AD plans. I don't want to have to checkup on QVC every time I make a purchase to see if they are charging me right....

Are you sure this was QVC? Unless I'm missing it, there isn't even a spot for a coupon code to be entered (other than gift cards). I do wish they offered coupon codes routinely like HSN. They are so tight with their discounts here!

I don't know about this particular situation but what QVC has done for me in the past is put a $ credit on my account. I've never actually gotten a code, it would just alert me of the credit when I checked out and I could apply it to my order if I wanted to.

Poor choice of words on my part. They just put "something" on my account that if I called in an order I could ask for free shipping. I did use it, but I had to call in and ask for it.

I have the Josie Maran A261031 on AD. After reading this I just checked the price and it is listed as $3.00 more than I paid, but I just called CS and they said that is the total with S&H, so I'm actually paying less. OP I think this may be the case for you since you increases are also by $3.

I think HappyDaze is on to something. I pulled up my A/Ds and they are $3 more as well (exactly the $3 and on all of my ADs) but I also noticed if I put something in my cart, it adds the shipping amount as a part of the total of my cart. I am 99% sure that before the shipping charge change, it would show the product total but not shipping (or tax) in the cart total amount until you started the check out process.

That is interesting, but shipping on all of my ADs was 2.98, not 3? Tarte Be Your Tarteist was 59.96 + 2.98 S&H = 62.94 + 7% tax for me, so the total was 67.35. If the amount they are showing is the total, that would make my purchase for this kit 62.96. A savings of 4.39 for future kits? Another reason I question this is my Laura Geller Hat Box TSV AD showed 72.50 as my total, and then they added shipping and handling and tax onto that. It ended up costing 85.30, which ended up being 18 more than it should have been? I guess when it gets closer to one of these ADs, if I decide to take it, I will just call.

I guess they could be adding 3 to my total instead of 2.98 and then add tax later. I just know it did not work this way when my Laura Geller AD went through in December?
