Does this board have new topics less frequently?

I have noticed since Christmas that new topics are pretty infrequent. It seems as if the approval process for posting is taking longer. Has anyone else noticed this? I miss all of the activity.....

It's a bureaucracy. There's a lot of red tape for them to be approved.

I just assume there is some monitoring. My post went right up, so, probably not. Just wonder if everyone has gone somewhere else.

Oh, I just got it - approval for the topics on the left hand side of the page! I thought you were talking about new topics posted by posters....

I've heard as long as your passport is up to date, you're good to go.

We posted at the same time. So my first guess was right. There is no approval process for new posts. If it ends up being inappropriate it will deleted after the fact.

No, I have not noticed any change in terms of new threads/topics. And I also don't see any preponderance of threads that become vicious on this forum.

That is one reason it is so dull around here. The topics are boring and if you start one you take a risk on getting slammed.

It's the Beauty forum. If that's boring to you, maybe this isn't the right forum for you. I see nothing particularly controversial or slam-worthy here, other than maybe the occasional O/T threads about hosts or something.

Oh But Susie some do become vicious. The most innocent of threads get turned around by a few that can't stand opposing opinions or thoughts. Even a couple of threads about good deeds and paying it forward got nasty.
