Sadly, I had to return the Tarte TSV.....

* the pump on the foundation did not work

* 2 of the e/s were crumbled

* the lip gloss made my lips burn

* the foundation turned orange/darker about 1/2 hour after I applied it AND showed up every crease/line/flaw I didn't know I had.

The disappointment with that foundation is just.... the coverage is great, goes on easily and beautifully and the INITIAL color (Fair) was perfect. An hour later..OMG, it looked horrible. I think I'm done with buying foundations online/over the TV.

I am on the fence yet. Today is the first time I tried the kit; arrived yesterday. My pump does not work either and with arthritis even if it did work, I would find it difficult. I like the foundation but will see how it wears throughout the day even though 3 drops WAS NOT enough for on application. The mascara was clumpy; I don't like lip gloss. The brushes are superior but I really don't need to buy the kit for the brushes. The eye shadow lighter color that I would use as a highlighter is too shiny for aged skin. I'm leaning towards going back for me also.

Wise move, OP. Unless someone has no other option or has already used and liked a particular foundation, I think it's far preferable to test them out in person. In fact, I always take a sample or samples home and try them for a few days.

I am on the fence with this TSV I have been trying this for 3 days and I got it in light medium,my daughter says I look pale and I also think when looking in a mirror that it looks a little yellow,should I get a different color for my next shipment????? Please let me know soon

I ordered the light which is my usual shade in all product lines. When I received it, it looked like a fair shade, with not a lot of color to it. When I applied it, it seemed to adapt to my skin shade. I am on auto-delivery, and with the summer coming, I might try to change to light-medium for the next shipment. But I liked the coverage, the brushes and the other items in the kit.

Can any of you tell me if the coverage of the foundcealer is sheer to full coverage? Since it is a serum foundation, I was hoping it can be applied sheer with very little coverage and can then be buildable. Thank you in advance.

Full coverage. It can look cakey/thick if you're not careful. You have to REALLY buff it out if you want sheer coverage; same with the blush as the pigmentation is fantastic.

Oh, that's disappointing!! I love the eye palette in the TSV.

The Q screwed up my auto delivery on this and I'm trying to get it fixed. It doesn't look hopefully and I'm not happy about it. Don't mess with a girl and her makeup!!! What happened was that when I ordered the TSV in Jan, the auto delivery option was not available. When it became available, I converted my order to be on auto delivery. While the initial order shows auto delivery, it doesn't appear on my auto delivery tab nor does the auto delivery edit plan function show the dates for future orders.
