Drag Queen Beauty.

I so want to have my makeup done by a Drag Queen. I am watching RuPauls drag race and some of these women/boys can really do amazing work!! I am going to figure out a way to get it done.

I want the makeup and hair tips, because they can transform in a dramatic way but can you image the great tips for just regular makeup and hair improvements.

Hmmm, how much are they actually doing themselves, & how much is being done off-camera by the professional make-up artists? Are you sure you want that kind of make-up? They have to wear a lot to cover facial hair as well as to "feminize" bone structure, etc.

RuPaul used to have a show called Drag U. He was on the show out of drag as the "dean of the school". An everyday woman in need of a makeover would be paired with a queen that would teach them how to dress, put on makeup, and present themselves in a lip sync show that they would have to preform on graduation day. 3 real woman would compete for the valedictorian spot. I can't remember what the winner would get.

Although the makeovers were way over the top, there were a lot of tips and tricks that the queens would share that were applicable to daily living.

I miss that show and look forward to the new season of Drag Race!

When I lived in NYC the original MAC cosmetics store (which was tiny) was in my neighborhood and all the make up artists were drag queens. They were so nice and funny too and I'd stop in all the time to have my face done and get advice on what to buy. They always made me look great! I still use MAC products but I miss that place!

I lived in Hollywood a few years, before I moved to the beach. Are you sure you mean drag queens........or could you mean female impersonators? There's a big difference.

Well, you used to be able to have your makeup done by a p0rn0- film makeup artist. (Alexis Vogel) Not quite up to the Drag Queen drama standards, but a start. She has a website and used to sell kits.

Those guys look great on t.v. but that heavy application of makeup would look clownish on a woman in real life. Kim Kardashian's makeup would be considered subdued compared to the heavy makeup on those guys. But with that said, I do understand what you're saying! Some of my best makeovers at M.A.C. and Sephora have been by guys.
