Just an FYI for those that use Insta Naturals Niacinamide serum

I know there is at least one poster who has been using this but I noticed today that it isn't available and here is what it says on their page on Amazon:

"Item Under Review

This item is currently unavailable because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)

We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."

I'm not sure exactly what that means but you might want to contact the company and make sure all is okay with your product.

Happy Daze - I'm one of their fans I can attest to a packaging problem. I don't know why this is happening, but the blue bottles that they use leak in transit. I've purchased the serum from them twice and although there is shrink-wrap around the top of the bottle, the product leaks out in transit. Ive bought 5 different products from them and its only thr niacinamde that leaks. I hope/assume this is the issue and hope it isn't anything else. However, if there is a problem with their product, I've read online about how easy it is to make your own niacinamide serum, so I might give it a try. The Instanatural one is really nice and inexpensive to me, but with witch hazel and aloe, I can apparently make one that costs practically nothing. A little less convenience, but hopefully the results are just as good!

Hi HappyDaze ~ Thank you for the heads up. I use Insta Naturals, but not this particular product.

Their CS is by far above the norm. I love their Vit C 20%, and their Retinol 2.5%.

CAshopper, that is good to hear that it is probably only a shipping issue and not an issue with the product itself. I am sure they can easily fix the leaking problem. Glad it is working well for you. I've been really looking into making my own products and yes, you can purchase niacinamide powder and add it to some existing creams. For example, on skinactives website, you can purchase the powder and either their sea kelp coral cream or canvas base cream, both with nice ingredients, and add the powder to 4 oz of either and you've now made a nice 4 oz size of 5% niacinamide cream for about $21 (that is the total price including shipping. The price of the products aren't that much but their shipping is kind of high). I am sure there are even better deals out there and, of course, always make sure the niacinamide will be compatible with whatever you are adding it to.

Mistic, sounds like it is probably just a shipping issue. Glad to hear of another company that has great CS service. Good to know!

Mistic - I started using their anti-aging clearing serum and it is amazing too. im going to try the moisturizers next. The niacinamide works really well for me, so I hope that they don't change the formula when it returns. And thank you Happydaze - I'm sorry that I didn't thank you in my first post!

I think the link below is the source of Insta Naturals niacinamide serum. A number if these wholesalers do custom or stock formulations for private label. I knew the ingredients looked familiar, just took me awhile to connect the dots. The ingredients are identical to IN. Don't know for sure if Essential Wholesale is Insta Naturals source, but I'm pretty sure and I feel better about IN now knowing this particular source.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I'm totally going to buy the 16 ounce size - it looks identical. Even if it is different and I hate it, its only, $22 out of pockets, I can't believe I'm buying a PINT of face serum LOL. I'm going to refill the little 2 ounce bottles.

Yeah, shipping charges are crazy at some of these places. I've found that if I'm ordering a small quantity of something they often work with you on the shipping charges. But if they don't, the niacinamide serum is $33.46 for 16oz - shipping included. If I did the math correctly, it works out to be $2.15 an oz.

What does the niacinamide do for your skin. ITA

it evens tone and texture, and reduced hyper pigmentation (sun damage for me). It reduces inflammation and treats acne. It is the active ingredient in Oil of Olay Regenerist products and ProX but I can't use Olay products due to the fragrance and silicones. I looked at the Olay ingredients and I can't actually see any other active ingredient in them besides the niacinamide. It is also called vitamin B3 serum if you want to google its benefits.

Thats fine with me. I may order something else from them as they have a lot of interesting products. I'm paying $18 for a 2-ounce bottle of what appears to be the same exact product from Instanatural.
