I always give myself two coats and sometimes three if the color is on the sheer side. However, I just finished putting a darker color on my nails, and as I started painting the second coat I realized I had really good coverage from the first coat. I went ahead and gave myself a second coat for durability's sake, but is this necessary? I am wondering if I just do two coats out of habit...So this is not the most important or pressing question on the agenda today, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
