Josie Maran Argan Milk vs Oil

I'm new to Josie's line and would love to hear from those of you who have dry, aging skin. I'm loving the oil and am seeing some positive changes. Is the milk that much better and is it worth the price? Thanks so much.

I love the Argan Milk but I also add three droppers of the oil to it!

I know that the milk has gotten rave reviews so it really works for some people, but personally I didn't notice a huge difference with it. It soaks in super-fast which is great, and it layers nicely with argan light for the day - no problem interfering with makeup - but I just didn't notice any extra hydration or other benefits. I actually just returned mine today and it broke my heart because I really wanted it to work for me! I love the feeling of Josie's oils, I love using them, and recently left a post asking about using them exclusively. Well, I gave it a go and sadly argan-only just wasn't enough for my dry skin. So I'm back to Miracle Worker with argan oil over it and that works great. I hope the milk will work for you!

Thanks. I haven't purchased as of yet because I wasn't sure if it was worth the price. I have been able to use just the oil during the day and my skin feels and looks hydrated all day. I guess I'll give it a try and see how I like it.

I have combo/aging skin & I love the Milk because it sinks right into my skin & gives me nice hydration. Someone with drier skin could probably use it under their makeup. I use it at night & then use the Oil over it & I love how nice my skin is.

Hi brandiwine ~ I'm new to all of this too. I am using the milk before the tinted moisturizer that I use for foundation. For me it is lighter, and absorbs super fast.

I have the same routine at night. I was using Retinol but noticed no difference. During the day I use hyaluronic acid from Hado Labo, a Japanese company. Once a week I use the Olay Regenerist peel. My skin has become amazing!

They both work. I just like the oil better. I'm not at the stage to need anything too extreme so the Argan oil and I also use Maracuja oil are good for me. I canceled my AD for the milk. Its just a bit much.

I recently bought my second bottle of the Milk because it has worked so well for my combo/aging skin. Since it is expensive and I don't want to go through a bottle too fast, I only use it in the morning under Josie's tinted argon moisturizer with SPF. It seems to work better for me than using the argon oil under the tinted moisturizer.

this milk is the greatest FIND i have made...i have had oily skin all my life ...now it is like combination....i was totally hesitant to try this.....the reviews were mostly glowing...i love the argon oil.....so i got the milk serum....ive used all the good brands of serum......but this stuff is the bomb...............i cannot believe how much my skin has changed....it is so clear and smooth.......almost glowing...i used it day and night.......at night i put the oil under my eyes first and then the milk....IT IS MAGIC...............wont be without it............

I'm 77 and I love the Milk. I love both, but 99% of the time I just use the milk on my face and the oil for 1.000 other things.

Are you supposed to put the milk over the oil or the oil on top of the milk? I haven't tried the milk yet.....

The milk goes UNDER the oil...which then is covered by moisturizer.

The milk on it's own doesn't do much.

I have noticed a difference for me.

I first tried this a few months ago in an AD set. I am on my second bottle now. I use it for day under my makeup. Previously, I only used regular argon oil at night.

I use retin A and I would have to back off of it for a day or 2 due to dryness. The last 2 months I have not had to back off at all.

Being able to use argon twice a day (milk for day, oil for night) I think has made a difference for me.
