Sonechko, I love my TT and I really don't need any more oil right now. But if I were going to buy more, it would probably be 613 or BGT. I love the smell of both of them. I have a hard time imagining anything could be better for my scalp than the TT though.

I may start using the WWC on other parts of my body because I enjoy the scent so much.

I got used to the scent. Now, it doesn't bother me. But I started using it for scalp issues, which it is helping me enormously.

I believe fig has cedarwood oil, which I think is similar. But, for me, the benefits of TT (for my scalp) far outweighs the smell. So if you don't have scalp issues like me, I would just go by what scent you like the most.

So do different formulas provde different benefits? I do not have scalp issues. I was thinking of trying the lavender for my fine hair, but it's expensive so I want to be sure I order what will work best for me. If it's just the scent, it won't matter. I'm just not sure if they all work the same.

You can look up the benefits of individual oils to check for yourself or you can tell us what you're looking for and we can help.

If you can't handle the scent of the oils overnight (I have some I can't handle for 10 minutes, much less overnight!), you might consider using them at different times. You could put an oil on your hair, put it up in a bun or a ponytail, and clean the house, do yoga, watch a movie, whatever. If you can have the oils on for a long time, that's great, but heat is what really helps them. If you get warm while you work out, clean the bathroom, whatever, that will help. You can even throw a plastic shower cap over your hair to help keep the heat in while you do chores and that will help the oils "marinade" your hair and scalp and keep the scent inside. I have an easier time managing scents that way than trying to sleep with them right there on my head.

You can find the properties of an oil by searching the internet for something like 'benefits of Rosemary oil' or 'Tea tree oil hair benefits.' and learn about the properties that way.

Just to let you know, that Lavender Oil also has quite powerful smell. This oil does provide a very calming effect. So, if you'd like it's smell, it is a good oil.

I have Lavender, TT, and I have Winter White Citrus oils. I love TT, can't say it's my favorite fragrance, but for the benefit it gives my hair and scalp, along with TT CC, I would not only tolerate the smell, I actually find it even pleasant, knowing it's a good stuff.

The WWC oil (they still have this item on Q WEN site), oh it is wonderful fragnance, not too overpowering, and wonderful experience overall as well. I love it.

For now I mostly use TT, but next treatment it's going to be probably WWC.

You may also, try to look for smaller size oil on ebay, just to try if you'd like certain scent. It's not going to be too expensive this way. But for the large size bottle and for guarantee of authenthicity and freshness, I prefer to purchase from the Q or Chaz site.

I see more new hair growth with the TT oil but to me all of the ones I've tried perform the same and you just have to pick the smell that you like the best. If you want a lighter scent I would recommend the WWC oil. Next to the FTP oil it's the lightest smell (at least in my opinion).

They all comprised of different plants and ingredients, and have different chemical composition and different healing properties. The effects they produce must be also different.

If you'd google "healing properties of essential oils" or something along these lines, you'd find plethora of information on what different oils are for and what benefits they supposedly offer, what healing effects they may produce. Ingredient list is available for each of Chaz' oil items.

Of course, you may call Chaz' salon and ask. Would be very interesting to hear what answer they'd give you, if you'll be so kind to share with us. This is very interesting question.

See the 'Benefits of Oils' thread here on the WEN board. I cannot sleep in the oils, even SHP oil was too strong for me. I can only use 1 dropper of WEN oil and 2 droppers of straight jojoba oil. Or I make my own oil with essential oils and jojoba. It is a very weak scent.

I only have the TT oil and the WWC oil. I love the smell of the WWC oil and it works fine. But my scalp is oily and prone to be flaky and itchy and it needs the TT oil. Nothing helps the flaking and itching like TT oil. The TT oil does have a strong scent--fortunately I find it tolerable, if not exactly enjoyable.

If you're just looking for moisture, then probably any of the oils would work. As others have said, if you are sensitive to scents the lavender may be a bit strong for you as well. I haven't tried the lavender oil yet, but I have used the lavender CC and I can see how those who are sensitive to scents might have a problem.

I have the lavender oil on right now.

But I put it on tonight, 'cause I have to start using it finally. Quite frankly, I do regret Lavender oil purchasing. Nothing wrong with it, oh no! It's quite nice.

It is because the ONLY oil I really want to use is Tea Tree.

TT really is very good stuff, the smell of this oil even became wonderful to me, having it on feels and smells nurturing and "healing".

But, yes Aprimo! My WWC oil is super! I love the smell of WWC hands down over any Lavender, and of course over my favorite TT!

There is no other oil I want to try so far, except maybe for BGT, when they release it finally.

On 2/7/2015 aprimo said:
Sonechko, I love my TT and I really don't need any more oil right now. But if I were going to buy more, it would probably be 613 or BGT. I love the smell of both of them. I have a hard time imagining anything could be better for my scalp than the TT though.

I may start using the WWC on other parts of my body because I enjoy the scent so much.

I agree with aprimo's post above. The tea tree oil is great for an overnight treatment. I recently ran out of tea tree oil and have been using the seasonal oils that I have as an overnight treatment. They smell awesome and I still have good results when using them but not as good as the tea tree oil. I also haven't tried the 613 oil or bgt oil, (I don't believe this is offered yet but should be available during Chaz's next visit), and plan on ordering both of these in the future.
