Did anyone get a suspicious email from Manuela Marcheggianinof Isomers

that said "Please check your document. Download and view attached PDF file. " with a PDFS file to open that said " Warning.txt"? I did not open it and I emailed Manuela a few minutes ago. Did anyone else get this? I'm afraid to open any links in an email especially because it came from Manuela Marcheggiani and nowhere did it say Isomers.

From time to time I get random emails from people I know but haven't seen or associated with in ages. For instance, I got an email from this guy I broke up with more than 4 years ago with a link attached with a note that says "this really works". No way was I going to open it up. I also got an email from my DD's former boyfriend of more than 6 years ago with the same link. Why he would be sending me a link is beyond me which raised a red flag.

I send them to my spam file.

Red flag and then some. These old pals did not send you those e-mails. You were smart not to open any attachments or links.

Red flag and then some. These old pals did not send you those e-mails. You were smart not to open any attachments or links.

I never open any links in any emails.

My neighbor just opened a supposed link from Microsoft that popped up in the middle of the screen and said ""click to finish updating."" It crashed his computer.

What is really bizarre is receiving one of those emails from yourself! It goes straight away into my Spam folder and immediately deleted.

I also get emails from my email address and it is sent directly to my spam (not by me) but by Yahoo.

I got an email from my brother-in-law.....(who has been dead for several years)
