    <description>&lt;P&gt;Over the years, all of us have created ingenious methods for applying makeup or solving makeup problems -- and some of &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;your&lt;/SPAN&gt; solutions may help the rest of us.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;For example, when a mascara gets old, I toss the tube, but keep the brush or applicator.  I wash the mascara brush with soap and water and keep it with my other makeup brushes.  Then, I use it dry to comb thru my eyelashes after I apply my mascara every day.  It gets rid of clumps, lumps and flakes.  (when I was young, I used a safety pin for this - eeuuuwww)  This little brush is also good for combing eyebrows.  And the next time I toss an old mascara, I have a new eyelash brush.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;What tricks have you come up with to apply your makeup?  Inquiring minds want to know.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
