Did you get the gloss applied at your salon, or did you do this yourself? Sounds like something I would like to try.

Split Ends

My hair has been developing split, dry ends over the past few months and I don't know why this is happening. I admit I have neglected having my hair trimmed as often as I should. I waited about 12 weeks before the trim I had yesterday. While the 1" I had cut helped, I still have some dry ends. I'm afraid the splits will continue to grow into the shaft of my hair. I have always had such healthy hair. I've never colored or permed my hair in my life. I only blow dry my hair a couple of times a week, and wash it about every two or three days. My hair is fine and shoulder length. I really don't want to cut it much shorter since this length works best for me. I have been using Wen for years. Have you ever had a problem with split ends, and what did you do? Can I just continue to have ends trimmed more regularly? I'm sitting here with wen oil on my hair as I write.

Consider getting a clear gloss applied to your hair. It helps to seal the shaft and condition. It also adds a little body and makes your hair look super shiny. I get compliments from women much younger than me and my hair looks better than it ever has. It's the gloss!

I had it done at the salon. I've never done it at home, but I'm sure someone here will have suggestions. I shoot for every 6 weeks, but sometimes go as long as 8 or 9 if I'm too busy to make it so the salon.
