One Product Doesn't Work 4 Me in the Argon Oil TSV....

What's the best way to handle a TSV with several products when only one doesn't work for you? The foundation is too dark, and I would like to try the lighter one. Do you return/trade the whole kit for one with the right shade, letting those products you liked go to waste at QVC?

I'm under the impression that if it comes as a kit, it gets returned as a kit. The other thing you can do is to keep everything you like and try to sell just the bottle of foundation. Then with your earnings you can purchase a single bottle of foundation in your desired color.

Can you use the foundation that is too dark to contour? Do you have another foundation that is too light and wear the two together?

If I have something that is a little to light or dark I wear it with other products and use it up.

Iwantcoffee, thanks for the great idea, but I have an abundance of foundation that is too dark for me, lol. I am light with pink undertones and so much seems too dark and orange for me! That's why instead of just keeping the foundation this time, I decided I needed to send it along! I wonder, I dont suppose QVC allows us to sell otr trade here, do they...?

I don't know if I'm allowed to say on here, but there are a couple of groups on Facebook. If you type in QVC and search you might find them.

I calculate the value. If I love the rest of the products and the value of all of the products makes the one I don't like basically free (which happens in many of the beauty TSV sets), then I give it away or toss it out and keep the set. If the cost of the item I hate is not cancelled out by the rest of the set's value, then I would send it back.

I'm fair with pink undertones and I've given up on ordering foundations from QVC, so I don't even order a TSV with a concealer or foundation unless I already know the total cost means the foundation would be free. Even then, I still usually pass it up most of the time.

I'm new to Josie, and am loving the products. BUT, I also got almost no color with the light-medium foundation. More white than any color. Wondering if I just switch out to the Dark in the AD? What do you all think?

On the page I follow some will post a tried or used foundation, but it must be stated as such. With this particular one, unless someone had an evil motive to contaminate it in some way, it's in a pump bottle so theoretically each pump comes out clean.

So funny. No, I think that one just talks about purchases, upcoming shows, etc. but you might look for words like "buy and sell".

That's a great way to decide whether to keep or not. Since you sound like a similar face color to me, have you found a good brand and color match? I have been using mineral makep from Bare Escentuals and found one of their less common colors works really well for me, however, I am having trouble with powder makeup as I get older and my skin dries out.

This was discussed in another thread, and some found it worked better to use their fingers instead of the brush...so that the color became darker. I think it's possible it turns color with the warmth of your face, so using fingers would help--if that's the case.
