IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

For those who are interested, the Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer (which has SPF 50+) is now available for purchase on IT's site for $65. Shades are Light, Medium, Tan, and Rich. I'm waiting for a response on the ingredient list and amount of product, which I'll post here after it's received.

It's EXPENSIVE and also probably really small. I went to the site and don't see the weight anywhere. This seems to be her new tactic to make sales.

wowzer expensive!! These prices are just getting ridiculous on comsetics (not just IT)! And no ingredients listed on her website either.

ETA: CS stated is is only 1.08 oz (32ml)!

I just did a live chat and asked. I was told that it is 1.08 ounces. I told her that it should be listed on the site so that people know what they are getting. It reminds me of the kit that was sold during the holidays--no one knew the size and it turned out to be TINY!

I asked about the ingredients and she said,

"The ingredients in the Bye Bye foundation are the same as our CC cream. The biggest difference would be the 3D Skin Flex technology that is infused in the new Bye Bye foundation. 3D SkinFlex Technology is proprietary to IT Cosmetics and it's only available in Bye Bye Foundation and Bye Bye Concealer".

3D skinflex technology. I find the names the cosmetic companies come up with amusing. It must be worth $65 and ounce, it has 3D Skinflex technology!!!

I think that we Boomers should FLEX our muscles and NOT buy this expensive gimmicky product. I for one won't be getting it. Also, Beautypedia says that It's CC cream has irritating oils in it.

This flex dealie that is in the concealer supposedly prevents it from creasing. Notice how she's always crinkling her eyes to show that it moves and doesn't crack. I think BBUE is quite good in that regard -- not perfect, but hey.

What I'm not sure is whether it's crucial in an all-over foundation. But my main problem is the ridiculously sparse shade selection. As it is, I compromise with BBUY, using the Tan ("warm medium" because there's nothing in between it and Neutral Medium.

Wow. This is one of the most expensive foundations on the market. The CC cream is great, but if the foundation is the CC cream plus some mystery gimmicky ingredient, I can't see it being worth an extra $30 for an ounce of foundation!

Yikes. Well I took one for the team and ordered the G-R set, which should come next week, so I'll know soon how good it is or isn't. I sure hope I don't end up loving this stuff!!

If anyone is going to spend $65 on foundation (not that this is necessary to get a quality product), it would be a good idea to do some comparison shopping. Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford....Most foundations in this price range come in 15-20 shades.

Man alive, that is pricey foundation. I would stick with the CC cream, as I'm not sure this 3D flex thing is worth it, although I've obviously not tried it. I'm sorry, but you can buy some really high end foundations for that price. And I agree with pas4116, you could get a perfect (or near perfect) match in some other foundations for that price!! I'll pass.....

Ok, just receieved an answer. I will re-type their response, verbatim. Just as a preface, I also asked whether the coverage is sheer/buildable, as the description states, or full, as the product name suggests. I will list the ingredients in a separate post, as this one will be long enough!

I have been using their foundation for months. I bought it from QVC. I really like it. You'd never know it by looking at me but I wear the fairest color there is of EVERY foundation sold (I know, it surprises me too).

I've used and like Laura Geller, Mally and too many other's to bore you. However, my most recent like/love is IT.

Titanium Dioxide 9.015%, Zinc Oxide 6.305%, Water, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Butylene Glycol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Dimethicone, Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil, and LOTS more.

As I stated in my post, CS told me it is the exact same ingredients as in the CC cream except with the 3d flex technology "infused" in it. So all someone needs to do is look at the CC ingredients and they will get the gist.

It would probably be better if you tried (key word tried) to contact the manufacturer and see what's in it.
