Do you have a "What was I thinking?" QVC purchase? Maybe O/T

Hello Beauty Board! I only check in on this BB board regularly and someone recently posed the question..how long have you been with the Q? Many of us have a couple of decades we can account for and today..still probably have those items. I thought for grins and giggles it would be fun to hear about purchases we made when we were weak and look back shaking our heads thinking...WHAT WAS I THINKING? For me hands down...and I have this embarrassing reminder everyday the hideous Joe Campanelli leopard print mop. I shake my head every time I see that handle. Anyone care if you dare to share??????

If anyone remembers when Joy Mangano was on Qvc selling those plastic jewelry boxes and rolly kits. I bought both and when I think about it now I cannot believe I fell for that, the jewelry boxes were plastic. I buy clothes or skin care lately so if i don't like it I try to send it back right away.

For me it was the denim and company pull on jeans (as well as HSN Cervelle ones) in all different colors that I bought in the 80's. Was purging clothing and found 6 pairs and just couldn't imagine why I got them as they are not my style at all but for some reason I was mesmerized by them and all the colors. I never even wore some of them either. What was I thinking!!!

This will get deleted but recently the air innovations humidifier that stopped working after gave this brand another chance as purchased 4 or 5 years ago had the same problem. No more.

Many years ago it was a rug shampooer that kept leaking so badly that one day when I was trying to use it I got so ticked I hauled off and kicked the bejeezus out of it. Out to the curb it went for garbage pickup.

Hi All! For me, it was Supersmile. Did I really just spend $65 on toothpaste? I see no visible results, so I'm feeling a little "buyers remorse." Lately, I have become much more selective about my purchases, and as another poster said, QVC's terrible shipping prices make it easy for me to be less tempted.

The Keuring Vue. Big mistake, since they stopped making the Vue cups right after I bought it. My friend is giving me an adapter for it, which is very nice of her! But I am still angry about the purchase.

Wow, they shouldn't have been selling that if they were going to discontinue the cups. That's just wrong. I would be angry too.

Oh, help me Rhonda---those awful cra(p) cakes---I threw those suckers out and got my money back!!!! And waaaaaaay back, I bought a huge box of those stoopid tap lights....anyone remember those? What a huge waste---in fact, I just unburied them a couple years ago and sent them to the trash. Also that dumb mouth exerciser thing ---$30 down the tubes. Have learned my lesson!!!!Don't buy anything anymore.

My list is too long. Some memorable things over the past years--litebites (company got sued for making false claims), body blade, the roly kit and its friend, the pilatto bakery box (which I actually use once in a while), the beachwaver. Ill fitting clothing (boxy or just plain odd fitting) is a big one. The big watch collections--the one with 10 straps. The straps usually fell apart after one or two wearings and really, I don't want to think that much when I'm getting dressed in the morning. The knockoff "M" watch that constantly fell apart. It fell apart for the last time about 3 months ago because I lost one of the parts. I notice they don't sell it any more.

Yes,

Two years ago for Christmas, most of my wish list was QVC items. I ended up with 3 Denim and co sweater that pill horribly and let me just say with going through the change, sweaters are not my friend. They are still in my closet and I don't really wear yet I can't bring myself to get rid of them.

Another item, was a brush type curling iron that was nearly 100 dollars. Supposedly great for your hair etc. I honestly can't tell the difference between it and a 20 dollar curling iron.

Sadly, far too many of them - lol! The worst however was some mini sewing machine that never worked and due to shipping costs I never sent it back. The upside was it was my "aha" moment and I really chilled on my QVC purchases. I bought a total of 3 items in 2014 for a total of about $100.

Wow, I thought I was the only one,especially when my hubby could not believe I bought the pole with like tubes for exercises. The bloody Instyler, and yes the crab cakes, the big black air purifiers x2! I did get my money back on those crab cakes .I also fell for the super expensive hairdryer , I still have it doesn't dry my hair any faster.Give me more time I can probably come up with a few more !

Happy you got a chuckle out of it! May I add every kick was accompanied by some really bad words, I called that sucker names that had never left these lips before. Freed me up though, been using them ever since!
