Call Clarisonic. Your device is still under warranty and they will replace it. I know a few women who have had this exact problem and Clarisonic has sent out a new one without any problem.

Has anyone else had this happen? My electrical outlet works and when I link with the electrical base the light starts pulsating but when I press the on button, nothing happens. Is there any way to repair or is it kapoot? I really don't want to buy another one. This one is 5 months old.

I am taking it for granted that it is charged? If it is only 5 months old you should still have a warranty and you shouldn't have to buy a new one.

Call customer service at QVC and they will give you the phone number to Clairsonic. Mine went out on me and it was still under the 2 year warranty and Clairsonic replaced my Mia with another one plus a sensitive head for it as well. Just call them and they will take good care of you. I was very pleased with their service.

Mine died after about 2 years. The button wouldn't turn off, so it just ran itself down. I pulled it out a few months later and charged again. The on/off button seems to work, but it doesn't hold a charge for more than one use. Not worthy of the price.

Try plugging it into a different outlet. Don't laugh, when mine stopped working and I tried a different outlet, it worked! If that doesn't work, call CS since yours is still under warranty so they should replace it.

On 1/9/2015 pas4116 said:
Mine died after about 2 years. Not worthy of the price.

When I had issues with mine, I called customer service and based on what I told them, they said it appeared that the handle part was not working, not the charger end. You can replace the handle part for $60 through Clairisonic's website. The handle is the entire hand held device including the brush head. Plus, then they gave me a gift card for $25 off on a purchase of $50. So I bought replacement brushes. I love my Clairisonic & use it every day so for me it is worth while to replace it, especially since the new handle part was only $60 as opposed to buying an entire new kit.

Mind just did the exact same thing! I give up. Am not getting another one. I don't think it made that much of a difference in my skin anyway. Lately have been using my cleansers and the Wonder Cloth and my skin feels very soft and completely clean. Good enough!
