New philosophy scent at ulta

It smelled very similar to Inner Grace.

Saw the new fragrance @ local Ulta yesterday.

Did NOT care for the fragrance at all-but then again I don't care for Amazing Grace at all either-love Falling in love and Loveswept.

Everybody likes something different-just not a fan.

Can't wait to head to Ulta and give it a try. I loved Inner Grace and was heartbroken when they stopped making it. If it smells like Inner Grace, I am in! Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Tissyanne. I'm so bad at describing the spray fragrances. I actually picked this one up at TJ Maxx. I did smell the new one at Ulta and it was a dud!

Amazon has Amazing Grace shower gel--16 oz. for $25. May be less elsewhere, but the Philosophy prices are rising quickly.

Hi Ladies! Ulta had the new fragrance (Live Joyously) in store a few days ago, so I tried it on. As far as strength, I thought it went on smelling strong at first, but then mellowed out. Yet after it settled down, it still lasted on my skin until later that evening.

As far as the scent itself, it's not something I would want to wear - it smelled a bit musky, powdery and musty (yep, I said 'musty' LOL). It's NOT a fragrance I would describe as youthful, light, fruity, sweet or floral.

For reference, I love Summer Grace, Amazing Grace, Falling In Love, Living Grace

Hi cal-gal. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for giving a great review. I think the new scent smells like an old Avon throwback from the seventies. JMO. It's just very off-putting.

It's funny you referred to it being like a 70's throwback .. LOL .. I think you hit it on the nail!

Do you remember Philosophy's "You Are Divine" fragrance from early 2012? Living Joyously evoked the memory of You Are Divine, which was also a musty, powdery scent.
