o/t What Are Your Favorite Scented Candles?

Looking for scented candles (with natural scents, not overly perfumey) that really scent a room and are lasting. For a long time we liked Yankee Candles but lately they just don't scent the room. Tried a pine scented soy candle over Xmas that was very nice but burned away very quickly. Would love to buy Jo Malone, but out of my price range for something so small. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Looking for something mid price range.TIA

I think Root Candles are the best around. I have been burning them for years. If you give them your e-mail they will send you notices for specials.

Love Gold Canyon Candles. Completely burns evenly from beginning to end and has a fragrance throw like no other.

If it makes you feel better I thought the Jo Malone candles would be the bomb diggity & I was not impressed, at all. Wick candles that I get at my local Krogers are better. I bought 2 B&BW candles in Lavender Vanilla & they are very scented.

The best candle I've ever smelled is the Capri Blue--Volcano scent from Anthropologie. It's the only candle I've bought for several years. It's just wonderful and well worth the price. Amazon sells them, too.

I told hubby that if I use up my candle stash this year, I'm buying the big daddy jumbo one to put in our den. It's pricey, but gorgeous, and my favorite all-time scent!! Voluspa are also fabulous! I always buy those during the Nordstrom anniversary sale.

The largest heritage candle is 26 ounces. They last a really long time too. Try going on their website and typing in your zip code. Hopefully, there will be a demonstrator in your area that could better help you. Usually, they will also have a fragrance of the month that has a 10% discount.

I've been using Candles by Victoria for years and love them. She has over 900 scents and just came out with some new candle designs. She has quite a few sales, usually at the beginning of most months, but you can also get a 10% discount by using the code cbvictoria.

Aside from purchasing Yankee Candles, I also purchased a few Kringle Candles this weekend. This is a company owned by the son of the original Yankee Candle founder. I've tried a few of their melts and one candle and have been very pleased.

Have you tried using a warmer/ wax melter? You may have better luck with that than actual candles. The scent is strong and you can try a variety of different scents for a much cheaper price than buying a whole candle.
