Almost 60 Years to Figure Out Eye Shadow?

Hello, Beauties! I fell like the only women on the planet for whom it has taken almost 60 years to figure out how to make eye shadow work for me. I always applied it above the lash line and it seemed to make my eye smaller. With the newer formulations, I've tried on the inner eye rim up to the lash line and get a much different result. I have to say I feel like a real dolt for not figuring this out or asking earlier. Any other tips greatly appreciated that way I don't have to wait another 60 years! LOL!

Do you possibly mean liner and not shadow? Just wondering.

I can't quite figure out or picture what you are describing. But it sounds like what I do with eyeliner, not eye shadow. Works for me. I'm 65. I didn't start applying my liner that way until a couple of years ago!

BTW, I'm in Hawaii too.

I think that method of applying eyeliner is very unsanitary and not good for your eyes.
