Kate Bryan, the creator of a The Small Things Blog, has many great hair tutorials on her blog. She has a way of breaking down hairstyles in manageable steps; her styles look great. I've tried a few and was pleasantly surprised I could create something semi-similar! Are there any other Small Things fans? Which styles do you like?

I like her blog too, SouthernLady. She hadn't made any new posts in quite awhile when I stopped checking in regularly. I still use some of her techniques for flat ironing and styling. Bought some of those twig bobby pins she featured -- $$ for bobby pins, but cute and different.

I used to like her, bc I liked the hair tutorials, but now her regular blog posts grate on me. She comes across as spoiled and whiny, so I just check if I want a tutorial to try. Not trying to be a downer, just giving my honest opinion!

I came across her blog a couple years ago and really enjoyed her hair tutorials but don't see as many of them anymore. I did come to realize, though, while searching for a new hair style and reading her blog, that any way she wears hers pretty much works for my face shape. So I loved when she did tutorials and often wished I could have her cut and style my hair. She seems to have mostly lots of makeup/skin stuff on her blog now. I prefer more fashion and hair. Plus I'm not a Mom so while her blogs about her son are nice for those who are interested, I don't relate to them so I pretty much stopped reading her blog.

I, too, would love to see her add more hair tutorials. She's pregnant with her second baby so I'm sure her time is limited. She has great hair and every style looks great on her. Lots of great tips! I rewatch many of her videos and pick up something new each time.
