Lori Goldstein and Kohls issue...

I love LG items but the top they just showed looked like a Vera Wang endless same old tops that has been in Kohls for the last 5 years....Stop it. And now that I have said that, lets move on to Kohls clothing.

Does Vera Wang not care any more? Her clothing is the same old thing. Dull colors this year, more SPLOTCHES, as well as the rest of the lines there. Really, who wants to wear a head of a giant animal or a cupcake on your shirt, Lauren Conrad?? Not unless you are 6!

Kohls use to have cute clothing and this year as well as really the past 3-4 years they have gone downhill...The styles look cheap and ugly. This year, the only clothing I bought was from Anthropologie and Lucy, plus a TSV SG from QVC.

Come on Kohls, lets open a fashion magazine and see what is happening. I can go in there today and find clothing from 2013 summer...I saw it on Black Friday.

Lori used to design for Vera Wang. I see a resemblance, but I much prefer LG items. I have some Vera Wang (Kohls), but I haven't bought much from Kohls fashion lines lately as most items are dreadful.

I never shop at Kohl's. Most of the clothing I see is probably what they cannot sell at other stores (and been around for a couple of years).

I also do not buy Lori's clothing from QVC. Who in their right mind thinks that layered clothing of 3-4 tops on looks great and how they howl over that and think its glamorous. Most of the clothing just looks like you jumped out of bed, too thin, and on plus size women makes you look even bigger (and have heard comments from others along the same line).

Lori has been on a lot lately (does QVC own stock)???

I was in the dressing room at Kohl's one day and a little kid was asking her mother who Daisy Fuentes was. The mother paused and I was sitting there thinking, who the heck was she again? The name/face was familiar, but I couldn't remember what she was famous for.

Wow. Daisy Fuentes has definitely broken the record for vintage MTV personalities. She was the first Latina VJ on MTV but that was over 20 years ago. Her Kohl's line was launched in 2004!

I don't believe she "designed" for Vera Wang ... but rather a stylist.

Do you not care anymore? This is Beauty not Fashion. Teasing you. Personally, I never purchased clothes at Kohl's I only like the Jockey underwear, bras, socks, jeans, and I have purchased Vera Wang bath and hand towels (holding up quite well). It would be nice to see better designers in Kohl's and/or brands.

Wow, these are my exact thoughts on Khol's & Lori. I never shop at Khol's. Went in when they 1st opened in my local area, SO disappointed. It looks like Goodwill, clothing all over the floors, cheap looking items. One of my BFF likes to shop there, went in with her awhile back. I found a place to sit down,& waited for her, nothing at all I was interested in.

I was also noticing how much Lori has been on QVC lately. Wondering if she & SG are going to be their lead designers?? I do buy alot of SG, but haven't tried LG line. It looks to "schlumpy" (is that a word,lol) for me. I am a large older lady & don't want to look like "big ole bag lady".

Lori's clothing line looks good on tall thin models. But on Lori herself? or the other larger models like Jacquie? No. I'm the same size as Jacquie and often find myself thinking "poor Jacquie, how could they make her wear that it looks SOOO bad!" Just because something is on trend or comes in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it.

Interesting. I read a year or so ago that Lori designed for Vera.

It's obvious the Kohl's detractors haven't visited a store lately. This fall they had Tahori with his New York line that was stunning. In addition, Vera Wang has added great prints and more color to her line. The Apt 9 brand is also very upscale looking. Besides great prices and coupons, I like the pieces I've bought this year. Judging by the compliments I've received, others do, too.

And btw, Vera's tights are wonderful, in fit, price, and wear attributes.

Went into Kohl's for the second time since they opened several years ago. My impression was exactly the same as the first time. Boring, colorless clothing that looked as if it had been there for years. Shoes so cheaply made the should have been give-aways. Absolutely nothing interesting and nothing of quality except a few lingerie brands. A decent home store offering.

Maybe some of their stores are different - ours is a disaster waiting to close.

I have never seen any clothing at Kohl's that I,would consider purchasing. barely one step above Wal Mart. cheap fabric and workmanship.

I agree about Vera Wang, therefore no longer purchase. There's not much clothing I purchase at Kohl's. I like Kohl's only for name brand items.

People have different ideas what they consider stunning and upscale.

I've found the quality of Kohl's clothing similar to what Penney's and Boscov's sells. I would not compare it to more upscale department stores.

I do agree with the Kohls issue. I always bought from Kohls every year. This year I actually bought a Vera Wang Burnout Velvet. It was beautiful. Also, I bought a pretty grape color Trek Gear shirt to go with jeans. But, I do not buy as much. They always had a large section of jeans, now very limited. I never bought from Lori.
