How long did your Clarisonic last?

How long have any of you owned your clarisonic (if you had one) before it went caput?
I believe I had mine for 2 years. I tried another outlet to charge it, as it had recommended, but I think it has to be tossed. Have any of you had it for more than 3-4 years without any problems?

Thanks. What model? Frankly, I don't know any other name than the Mia (which I think is the smaller one?). I have (or had) the larger one.

I bought one of the first models, a Mia, when the QVC first showed them. Use it every day, sometimes twice a day. Works great. Would not be without a Cationic.

I got my Mia shortly after they came out and that was so long ago I don't really know. Anyway, it is still going strong and I use it every night. Still charges for at least two weeks. Maybe the old ones were made better.

I bought my Mia in May, 2011. It still works great. I have had no trouble and use it everyday.

I have the original Mia, its 6 years old and still going strong. Its 1 - speed but I don't need the two speeds. Changing up the brush heads is all thats important to me and all the brush heads (including the new ones) are compatible with my old Mia. I believe Clarisonic still sells the original Mia (called Mia 1) for $99. Maybe they were made better back then.

Less than a year. Twice. Bought one that one day just wouldn't charge. Bought a second, same story.

Bought it the first time I saw it on QVC. I use it a couple of times a eek and it's still going strong. No issues whatsoever. Love it.

I purchased my Mia in 2010. I use it once a day and it holds a charge for just about a month. I will get a new one if this ever stops working.

Mine predates the Mia and it's still going strong. Knock on wood! I use it almost every day and charge it about once a month. I don't do anything special - just clean it out with a Q-tip after recharging it.

Mine must be 8+ years old. I bought when there was only one size and color available--full-size and white. I use it every day. I've been tempted to get one of the new colorful ones, but this one just keeps on going!

My first one was going on 5 years and was recalled....they sent me a new one...lasted 2 years and then would not recharge.....they sent me another one and it is working well into its third year.

My order history only goes back to 2009 (?) and I can't figure out when I ordered it! Must have been 2008 because I haven't been shopping on here that long. I bought a regular Clarisonic and it is still going strong. I will say, I do not leave it charging when not in use, I never do that, I put it in the charger stand, but leave it unplugged until it actually needs to be charged. I never leave rechargeable things plugged in because it wrecks their battery life. Batteries have a memory, and if you don't allow them to discharge fully between recharges, the memory becomes shorter and shorter.
