TRAVEL PACKETS MESSY?

Would love the travel packets to be re-packaged in the soft "juice box" pouch with screw top. I wouldn't need a scissors to open it, if it fell in shower it couldn't leak & best of all, if all not used up, it can be reseated to bring home......

I prefer the squeeze tube packaging. The packets look like a mess waiting to happen.

Not at QVC. They have the mini pump bottles in 6 ounces.

The tubes I'm talking about are available at Wen.com.

I got those from Guthy Renker. I closed my account there. The packets are difficult to open with wet hands! Better to cut the packet open before entering the shower and then use. You can lose some, yeah, it can be a bit of a pain but a tube shape may be a problem if trying to board a plane. As far as convenience in usage I think the tubes are easier to use in the shower though. I guess ya can't have everything.

sjk, yes, the tubes are much easier than the packets.

The engineers who design the packaging should use a prototype when it's in design stage. I turned a new container of Pantene Curly turtle in the shower due to the design of the package.

I ordered travel packets optimistically but now having taken them on vaca, I can say I would just squeeze CC into a GoGear bottle from Container Store. Much better. I had to leave 1/2 a packet of POM in the trash when I got off the ship. Love these bottles!

Keller, after using one Wen travel packet, I switched to the Go Gear container. Easier to use!

Those packets are definitely sealed well.

Do those tubes come in other scents or just POM.

They come in all core scents. SAM comes in the intro kits.

I haven't really had any trouble tearing the travel packets open in the shower. I tear the end open, then lay it on my palm and start folding up the closed end with my other hand. I just fold it over like a toothpaste tube until all the product is pushed out onto my palm. I find one packet is about the right amount for one cleanse for me, since I have hair a bit past my shoulders.

I bought the travel packets to try some of the other formulas, but I do have to agree with some posters in that it's hard to deal with. If you want the Wen CC tubes, check eBay. Just be sure to purchase from a trustworthy seller. I bought several of these humangear gotoob and they work really well! I have the larger sizes for my CC, smaller ones for lotions, soaps, etc. You can purchase them on Amazon

I've never had one leak, they are great for planes, trains and automobiles Makes it easy and cheap to take my Wen to the pool, gym, trips, etc. And to share with newbies who want to try it I've bought them several times at places like TJMaxx and Marshall's.

I should have mentioned too that these Smart Tubes (and probably other brands mentioned on this thread) are easy to fill and clean. The Smart Tubes have a hard lid/collar combo that can be removed from the silicone body to make it super easy to clean. I can't say enough about these handy little things.
