Need Recommendations for Bath Products For Teen Girl

I would like to buy some shower gels and body lotions for my fifteen year old niece. I don't want to spend a lot, but I want them to be nice. Can you suggest anything from Bath and Body Works, or even a good drug store line? Please include the name of the fragrance you suggest, not just the brand name.

Anything from Bath and body works should be a hit with her. Not knowing her in the least, I would say warm vanilla sugar (or vanilla bean Noel if you want something that looks holidayish) would be a safe bet. Would likely be ok with anything fruity... I think scent is a hard thing to suggest for people you know nothing about.

Definitely Bath and Body Works and I think Vanilla Bean Noel or Twisted Peppermint would be great.

Ulta's brand of bath and shower products are nice. I think they are still buy 2 get 2 free and if you use a coupon it's even a better deal. A lot of bang for the buck. My 14 year old loves them.

I agree with Bath & Body Works, and I would get the warm vanilla sugar like Stacismom suggested. I gave this to a teenager not long ago, and it was a huge hit. They have great gift baskets right now, and lots of times they're on sale.

Aveeno from the drugstore is very good especially if she has dry skin. Burt's Bees and Shea Moisture are also good quality lines in the drugstore that have bath and body products.

Ulta always carries some nice ones and usually has a deal on them this time of year. Inwould think most of their scents are for that age group.

Anything from Bath and Body Works and if she doesn't like the scent..they allow them to exchange it.

One year my boss's wife bought each of us a HUGE set of BBW..and for some reason I got Fig something and my friend got another horrible smelling one. We went on our lunch hour to exchange..We carried them in the gift bag we received them...and they did the exchange they scanned the bag and added $5 to the exchange. We didn't realize it until we had credit left over after the exchange and she then went over the receipt!!

Bath and Body works will let her exchange any scents she does not like. There are sales people that can tell you the hottest trends for teens this season. Also Victoria's Secrest has a large selection of bath and body sprays that my 14 year old niece likes. They are very "young" scents....like "Sporty","flirty","Creamy", and each scentis light. They have good deals this time of year.

Bath and Body Works is a great place to start--I like the C.O. Bigelow lemon products they sell there (lotion, body wash, lip balm, body cream), but the Coconut Lime Breeze (house brand) is also nice.

At The Body Shop I like the coconut scented products (body butter, shower cream, soap, etc.) They have some pre-packaged gift boxes that range in price from $9- $35 right now.

Bath and Body Works for sure. If you've ever been in one of their stores they are overflowing with teen girls during non school hours and weekends. Vanilla Bean Noel has already been suggested and I'll add Sugar Plum Dream (it sounds so teen girly). As you may know with their buy a certain number/get the same number free specials you can usually put together an impressive gift box for a young lady.

Wow! Thank you ladies, I knew I'd get some good advice here. Sounds like Bath & Body Works it is! I think she has one near where she lives too. So, if she doesn't like what I get her she can exchange it.

Will she need the receipt or, will the store scan the individual products?

I have teen age Great Granddaughters - definitely Bath & Body works. Vanilla Bean Noel is a favorite, sugar plum dream does sound great for a teenager.

To be safe I would give her the receipt. The do exchanges with out it, but to make sure she gets full credit for what you spent, I would tuck the receipt in the bag!

My granddaughter and her peeps like the products at "Victoria's Secret".....not the underwear, yet--- the bath & body scents. The fave is "Pink", fresh & clean. There's a kind of "Pink" cloud around the whole soccer team.

They love gift cards to Ulta and Sephora. They travel in a flock and can spend hours there.

I also agree with Ulta or bath and body works. One of my new favorite scents from BBW is the white citrus. It is really very nice and good for someone of any age. A few years back my favorite was the pink grapefruit and mango mandarin from bath and body works both that have been discontinued. These were some of my favorite scents and my nieces loved them also. If you think that she would like a citrus scent I would recommend the white citrus.

Victoria Secret is also a good choice for a younger person.

Victoria Secret bath gels. They always have a special at Christmas on the purchase of 3. I get the body spray that matches too.
