What are you thoughts about Rimmel products?

My daughter is using a Rimmel foundation and I tried it and liked it. I looked at the website and their products look pretty good but I would love to get comments from those of you who use it or have used it. I'm interested in a foundation and eye products as well as concealers. Thanks in advance for any information and/or comments you have about the product.

My DD has liked using some of their products as well. Aside from mascara, maybe an eyeshadow or two once upon a time, and the BB cream, I personally haven't tried the entire line. I did like what I tried, though. The BB cream is actually one of the better drugstore versions, IMO.

If it matters, Rimmel is not recognized as a cruelty free company.

I have only used lipsticks and eye liners. I like them all very much. Good products for the money.

Like all lines some products are good some not so.

Lipsticks are good, I bought one eye product that was lousy. The Stay Matte Powder is wonderful and inexpensive

Where I live there is a store called Harmon Discount, that discounts everything about 20-30% so it makes buying all the drugstore lines just way too easy.

Rimmel lipsticks are my favorite. I have used the Rimmel 25 hour foundation and its is very good. If you have a CVS they sell Rimmel and will give you a refund if you do not like the product. Keep the receipt Not crazy about the eyeshadow.

I LOVE the foundation. I am always searching for the perfect foundation. I think I find one and always end up going back to Rimmel. It provides the full coverage I need. I keep thinking, it's not good because of the price! But it is.

I've only tried eyeliner, and it was fine. My DD has a few of their products and seems happy with them, but she doesn't wear a lot of MU or wear it often, so she may not be the best critic. For the money, it's worth a try if they have something you are interested in.

I've used Rimmel eye liner pencils for years and love them - keep buying over and over again.

Last summer I tried Rimmel's ""Stay Matte"" foundation and it became my everyday foundation. I only recommend it for oily skinned ladies because it is drying and does what it says: stays matte all day long. Medium/full coverage. Looks better and better as the day passes - doesn't wear off or sink in.

I have used many of their products, and think they are a pretty good value for the cost. Wal-Mart has very good prices on Rimmel, and CVS has sales on the products. If you use your CVS bonus card, your beauty purchases add up, and you get free bonus dollars.

I have tried their Gone in 60 Seconds nail polish and loved it. I think it was 85 cents at Walgreens.

I only used one of their products due to the great reviews here, a bronzer. It was extremely perfumed, and I tossed it right away. Never tried more of this line.

I have used several Rimmel products & they are hit & miss for me. I haven't purchase any of them again. The foundation was too thick & the liners did not stay put.

I, too as a confessed lipstick junkie, love Rimmel lipsticks in the tube, especially. The application is creamy smooth and moisturizing with many beautiful colors and a very good value, especially if you score with a coupon discount.

You will not go wrong with their tube lipsticks. Two thumbs up!

I've used their mascara. Typical of a cheap product line it was clumpy and smeared hours after application. Lip gloss was good, not sticky or gummy. The BB foundation was very nice but the bottle was difficult to deal with. It had an odd dispenser pump that broke after just two uses. Had to toss it. At that point I decided the line wasn't worth the trouble.

Rimmel is a pretty good brand. When I run out of something like mascara and need to grab a replacement quick at the drugstore, I generally zero in on the Rimmel and Loreal sections. For me, I find the quality a bit better than the giant brands like Revlon, Maybelline, or Covergirl.

The House of Rimmel was established in the 1830's and are one of the oldest cosmetics brands. Coty acquired them in the 90's.
When I owned stock I learned this trivia that I never thought I'd have use for.
