I couldnt resist this palette because the colors are great. I have a TON of eyeshadow, but there were colors and shades in this palette that I didn't have.

I was pleased with the pigmentation, and the choice of colors & shades. As well as the 5 cremes that could be used as eyeliner or as lid primer if you're using a similar color shadow.

It also included a small Photo Finish Lid Primer, which is nice. The shadows seemed to last all day and into the evening! I usually put my makeup on around 7 a.m.

I like the way they have the five rows with three shadows and one cream, and each color in that row works with the others in that row. And of course you can mix it up.

The only gripe I have is that Smashbox shadows have a tendency, in my opinion, to be very powdery/chalky. One morning when I used it, on my bed, in my (a little bit) dim bedroom - when I went into the brightly lit bathroom and looked into the mirror, I had green powder all over the side of my nose!

After that I was more careful - I blew the excess powder off the brush before applying, and I applied with slower, more careful strokes!

If anyone has this and would like to know what color combinations I've used so far that look great, I'll be glad to share.

I'd also like some other reviews/opinions on this palette!
