I really like the Lavender CC. My hair is fine in texture, but thick. It's naturally straight and I wear it in long layers, longest is about two inches beneath my bra strap. I use Tea Tree for my first cleanse, every time. I then use either Tea Tree, Sweet Almond Mint or Lavender for my second cleanse (or any combo of those). This gives me consistently great results.

You can always give it a try, you have until the end of January to return it if it doesn't work for you.

Who uses Lavender CC?

Seems like the most popular scent is tea tree which I currently use as well. However, I don't get the best results and have taken to use it as a conditioner and use regular shampoo for my cleanse and it has given me better results. I have tried the pomegranate and sort if liked that, and I started years ago with lavender but at that time I was new to WEN and not sure if I was using it properly. I took the questionnaire on the WEN web site and results for me said to use lavender. I have very straight, fine (but not thin) shoulder length hair with no body at all. I would like to settle on a CC and not keep buying expensive products just to try them. Anyone have any reviews on the lavender?

I have thin/fine, limp, porous hair and LAV is one of the few scents that definitely does not work for me. A number of other Wenners with this hair type also steer clear of LAV. And we're mystified as to why it was recommended specifically for our hair type. -- then last year Chaz and Lisa added a clarification to this recommendation. They modified the recommendation to be for Wenners with LOTS of thin/fine hair. And suggested that the rest of us use TT (which I had already figured out). LAV is the only formula that dries my hair out.

It tells me to use Lav too, but that is not what I have found works the best for my very fine, very thin hair. Yes the Lav gave me volume but after a few cleanses it dried my hair out. I have found a new combo that works well for me and that is TT and Fig. I still use the Lav from time to time in mixes but not by itself.

The Lav is part of my rotation. I have thick hair that is comprised of several different hair types, natural wave (not the nice natural wave - the unruly natural wave) and lots of cowlicks. My hair is normal, not oily or dry. I have never found the Lav to be drying and it does amp up the volume for me and I love the scent. Since my hair is pretty resilient, all the cc's work well for me.

I have fine hair and have used Lavender and tea tree as my core formulas since I started using WEN. The combination gives me the right balance of moisture and volume. I use tea tree for my first cleanse and lavender for my second.
