I'm one of those "lucky" ones who has been fighting acne since I was 16 (in my 40s now). I recently had a flare up since I was eating less healthy from Christmas cooking/baking. I ate a lot of chocolate/brownie dough, etc and am paying for it dearly. I recently purchased a salicylic peel online and have been doing it twice a week for two weeks and am noticing a HUGE improvement. Takes out the redness and tones down the "honker" ones. Honkers are those huge ones that seem to never go away.

Anyone who doesn't have overly sensitive skin might want to consider it. My skin tolerates a lot and I was able to use it for four minutes without stinging. Immediately after, I pat my skin dry and apply my spf moisturizer. Viola! I'm pretty happy w/results. At least my makeup can cover it all up now since there aren't any that are inflamed anymore.
