I don't have dry skin. Maybe you should exfoliate before using it?

I'd recommend the same, as well as making sure you're using a good moisturizer. I used to have oily skin, but my skin has gotten dry in the last 2 years. Foundations that worked for me without a moisturizer or primer before no longer work without one or both. I used to have to use primers to block oil and now I have to use primers to lock in my moisturizer. Multi-tasking products like BB and CC creams say they're moisturizers, but they're always going to be too heavy or too light on moisture for some people, so I take that with a grain of salt. I used to be able to use a tinted moisturizer alone and now it's just not enough for my skin and I can't use that as my only moisturizer.

I had terrible issues with flaking after a few days of using the IT CC Cream and stopped using it. After later experimentation with other products, I realized that it was the physical sunscreen that caused my flaking and irritation. I just can't use products with high levels of physical sunscreen on my face without redness and flakes appearing after a few days, so I've had to give them up. You may also want to check to see if you have any sensitivities to the ingredients.

I battle with dry skin at times. I do not like the feel or look of makeup. And majority of the time I do not wear it. That is why I loved the concept of this CC Cream. I bought it and I wore it for the first time today. It makes my skin look a little flaky. My husband said a little ashy, but I really don't see that. If you use this product, did you have any issues with flaking. And if so, how did you correct it? Thanks!

It sounds like some exfoliation is in order. When you get the dead skin off your face it will provide a smoother surface on which to apply your CC cream.

Thanks everyone! I guess I should have said from the beginning that I use TATCHA (oil and exfoliater). I haven't had this problem with her liquid foundation. But I didn't use a primer before hand because the product discusses that you don't one. Maybe I'll try it with a primer tomorrow and see if it helps. Thanks again!
