I wash it off after 3 minutes, so no, I don't think it adds another layer of stuff to my skin. This is my order of application for skincare : I cleanse my skin, then use the peel pads, then apply Skin Softening Essence, facial serum, eye serum,oil, and my moisturizer. In the AM I skip the oil, though.
