I'm so excited for the winter seasonals. This will be my first time trying them out and I already received the TSV so I tomorrow I think I will be opening Winter Mint. I really want to try the cranberry one just because I'm crazy for cranberries but I'm wondering which winter seasonal would be the most moisturizing and best formula for my hair. I have a short naturally curly pixie cut and my hair is very thick but not coarse. I've used Chaz's product recommender an use regularly SAM, POM, and SHP. Thanks for the advice.

I'm not a fan of the winter seasonals, but it seems like Winter Vanilla Mint is one of the most popular (and most moisturizing) formulas. I don't care for the smell, so I sold almost all of mine (kept one 16 oz bottle that I'm going to make myself try this year).

I did try Winter Cranberry Mint and really disliked it........it was my first Wen return (I couldn't keep a 32 oz bottle of something I hated). To me, it wasn't very moisturizing, but I hated the smell.......it smelled like a minty version of Juicy Fruit gum. To my nose, it was terrible.......and I love cranberries!

I'm looking forward to hearing the description of the new winter formula, I might order an oil or RTM in it.

I loved WCM and even bought extra cleansing conditioners, RTM and oil that I haven't used yet. I will definitely being using this formula the entire winter season, in addition to the other winter seasonals. I am also looking forward to trying the new winter seasonal and WVM since I wasn't using Wen when this was offered. I plan on ordering the new seasonal as soon as it is available since I would imagine that I will like it. Not sure how moisturizing it will be though. I found SHP to be the moisturizing of the seasonals that I have used.

I like the WCM, a lot. It is very effervescent smelling to me. Like cranberries and ginger ale or champagne -- I don't really smell the mint at all. I liked WVM, but it does smell sweet like an Andes candies. I'm lucky that all the seasonals work with my hair and both of the winter formulas make it soft and shiny. I have shoulder length hair that is highlighted. I have 5 or 6 types of hair on my head and lots of cowlicks. I'd say my hair is normal, not dry or oily. Both winter formulas worked well for me. I am looking forward to the new one too.

Winter cranberry mint has been my second favorite seasonal ever. My favorite was the summer mango coconut. I have thick, wavy/curly hair and it works great for me. I would say that it is more moisturizing than most seasonal formulas. The scent is heavenly! It is light and fresh. I also loved the accompanying oil and replenishing treatment mist. I wish he would bring them back to qvc too.

Hi Lady.

I had a similar question about the Winter Seasonal, so I emailed Chaz's website. Here is their reply:

Thank you for contacting us. The Winter seasonals are all equally hydrating, there is not one more hydrating then another. They are very comparable to the fig with hydration, they are actually contain a blend of amino acids and peptides that are found in the Sixthirteen.

Sincerely,

Jillian Pardo |? ?Product Specialist | Chaz Dean Studio
6444 Fountain Ave | Hollywood, CA 90028
Direct: 323.467.6444 ext. 18

Hope this helps!

Teesa

Oh now now, I'm going to want all 3 winter formulas as I love mint, cranberries and love citrus in the winter to help with the cold and flu. Nothing better than vitamin C. I'm thinking I may end up canceling my AD for POM as I haven't even used my 32 oz bottle yet. Just don't know what to do as I can't have all the WEN in the world.

Well, I don't think I'll be ordering a 32 oz of WVM, I'm not even sure I'm gong to keep the TSV yet because I didn't like the smell of WVM, I felt like I washing my hair with a York Peppermint Patty the entire time but it was awesome on my hair. I don't have any product in my hair right now and my hair feels so soft and silky. So I'm torn. I also love SHP. I'm going to try the other formulas, but I know I'm going to hate the smell of the pumpkin one

I don't have any product in my hair right now and my hair feels so soft and silky. So I'm torn. I also love SHP. I'm going to try the other formulas, but I know I'm going to hate the smell of the pumpkin one

If you don't think you will like the pumpkin formula you shouldn't use it. You may still decide to order the other winter formulas since they should be very different than the WVM.

WVM is, indeed, Fig-level moisturizing; however, I founded WCM to be one of the least moisturizing seasonals. Or, at least, it gave my fine hair the most body of any of the seasonals. Maybe it's due to the difference in ingredients (e.g., cranberries).

I love the smell of the Winter Vanilla Mint, but it leaves my hair feeling dry and I have to combine it with Fig or follow it up with Fig to make it work for me. Sad, because I don't like the smell of Fig and Winter Vanilla Mint is heavenly.

Winter Cranberry Mint was not may favorite scent, but I do like it. It's a light cranberry and I don't really pick up any mint in it. Winter Cranberry Mint is way more moisturizing for my hair and, of all the seasonals so far, I think has been the most effective for my hair. I'm picking up the 32-oz on auto-delivery. I'll buy a 16-oz WWC* to try, as well.

My hair is naturally dry, wavy/curly, and prone to frizz, especially in humidity. I color it every 5-6 weeks.

*HA! QVC will not even allow me to type the name of the new winter seasonal, the forum gave me an error, EVEN THOUGH IT'S ALREADY AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE. I swear, never in my life have I come across such ridiculously over-moderated forums. These forums treat us like children.

Woot woot woot! Thanks for sharing the news, I just ordered three 32oz WVM's on A/D! Now I won't have to horde so desperately, I'll be able to use it any time I want.

Has anyone used the winter formula, wc, at bath and body works? I just tried it the other day and may have to buy some the next time that I go shopping. I am curious as how it will compare to the Wen winter formula. I can't wait to try all of these, shower gel, body lotion and cleansing conditioner. I will post after I use all 3 together.
