Do you think Chaz will come out with a hairspray?

Sorry, I'm an 80's girl and I LOVE my hairspray! I have baby-fine hair and nothing holds my style in place like hairspray so I hope Chaz does create a hairspray for Wen. I know anything he makes will be terrific. Thoughts?

He's pretty anti-hairspray, so I'm not sure if we'll ever see that :-) If you like what you're currently using, then continue using it!

I like a little more volume, so I usually use either his mousse or the Volumizing Treatment Spray. It provides great volume and nice hold. I use the VTS in place of a traditional aerosol hairspray and love the results. That might be an option for you.

He has said the Volumizing Treatment Spray is his hairspray. It gives a good, soft hold. If you're wanting a firmer hold, I don't think Chaz is going to do that because his style is the softer, flowing hairstyles.

He's said before that he's had many requests for a hairspray...but he just can't wrap his head around the idea. You never know, though!

In the meantime...have you tried the Volumizing Treatment Mist? I've completely replaced hairspray with this and love it--gives very good hold for me. I don't have your hair type, though. Mine is thick and slightly wavy.

He claims he doesn't want us to use hairspray yet this treatment mist contains alcohol after water in the ingredient list? I tried it on my fine hair which I have a lot of and all it did was make my hair dry and unruly. I wish he would come out with a real hairspray without alcohol.

He didn't like mousse either, but he made one anyways, never say never. I too have fine hair and have to use hairspray for better control and keeping my style from going flat. He has a great product line but I still need my hairspray.

The volumizer works better than any hair spray out there because it's not sticky. It provides hold without that. After you're done styling, spray the volumizer just like you would hair spray and you'll get great hold. Why should he make a hair spray when there already is a Wen product like that? You can mix the volumizer with the styling creme while hair is soaking wet for volume.

Wait, what isn't true? I must have missed something. I know Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner was the first thing he did. He said that. Actually that's the one I started with years ago when I saw the first infomercial with Melissa Gilbert. I did not know Wen went back so many years before I knew about it. It was quite some time ago. Then I saw the Cucumber one and tried that then I saw the Tea Tree and then I saw the Lavender and then the Pomegranate. I'm not saying he did them in that order but that was before I knew he was on QVC. I used to have an account with (you know who) but QVC is way better.

It isn't true that Chaz is anti-styling products. As bruingirl said, his first products were SAM cleansing conditioner, SAM styling crème and SAM texture balm - 2 out of the 3 being styling products. And he never said he was "anti mousse" - he said he couldn't wrap his brain around how to make one that was in line with his principles - non-aerosol, non-damaging to the environment and your hair.

I agree with okiebug and would be surprised if he decided to make a hairspray.

When Chaz first started selling his product he had a tray that had 9 different products that his one product could replace. Now he has ""9"" different products to add to his ""1"" product!!!! So in reality you will be using ""many"" of his products to get the results he says you get using his Cleansing Conditioner. Think about it......... :-o

I use the Volumizing Spray as a holding hairspray all the time. I like a firm hold (helmet head, in fact!) and all I have to do is spray more of the Volumizing Spray. It holds great, just like any other old-fashioned hairspray I used to use. But when I brush out my hair, it's easy to get the brush through the hair and is not sticky or crunchy and doesn't leave any residue. I only use it for this so it is my hairspray.

He started making so many different products because his customers wanted them. They were using his original cleansing conditioners, then using other harsh (in Chaz' opinion) specialized products to get the results they wanted for their hair styles. So, he began to create these different products in ways he thought were better for hair than the other brands. Like any other product line that offers many different products, you don't have to use every single product they offer.

I use the VTS or volume treatment spray as my hairspray. Not only it smells great, it has great hold and does not leave any residue.

A few years ago when I use to watch Chaz he would use Big Se*y Hair spray in the red can. It was his hair spray of choice. That is the hair spray I use and I love it!
