topic Kenra Thermal Spray - Anything to get the GUNK off my flat iron?? in Beauty

I tried this product after a recommendation - and it works great! But, I have an issue because it's gunking up my flat iron and curling irons in a BIG way. I waited until they cooled down a bit and used a microfiber cloth on it to remove what I could. I used it again this morning and it's just coated in streaks. I thought about using Goo be Gone, but haven't yet. I used alcohol on my irons and it helped a bit, but the flat iron is just nasty and will be unusable if I leave it like this.

Anyone have a way to clean this up conveniently? Otherwise, no matter how well it works, it's going back.

TIA!
