Very interesting comments, appreciate the heads up regarding the Aloe Vera gel, I think I will switch as I don't like the gel that comes with it and it's too expensive. I thought I had been using a lot of the gel so don't understand why I should be feeling that faint electrical feeling... but will use more.

As far as these machines being dangerous are concerned, these are micro currents, extremely small bursts of electricity and are safe and FDA approved for personal use.

The technique has been around for a very long time and works to gently stimulate the muscles much like our own natural muscle synapsis (internal electric impulse) through exercise and has been used by the medical field for a long time. Here is some basic information about Micro Electro-Therapy (as well as some other Electro Stimulus).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrotherapy_(cosmetic)

As far as using it on the neck, it was not FDA cleared to use on the neck area, however I've heard some ladies have done so. Also heard that using it along the jaw line helps lift the neck area.

I'm planning to give it the correct amount of time and use it once a day as prescribed. I'm hoping to look "brighter and more refreshed"... and if anything else occurs, like the lessening of fine lines and wrinkles, then I'll make a little shrine on my mantle around it!

I just purchased the NuFace Mini and started using it about five days ago and of course do not have the time in to say one way or the other if it's really working. It brings up a flush to my face and even tho they say you don't feel anything I do feel a very, very slight electrical pulse feeling, very light and at first was confused as to what the feeling was. After I'm done I DO like what my face looks like. Fresh, clean and I don't know, just a little better. I'm hoping that I'll see some difinitive results after 30 days or so. How about you??

I purchased it the last time it was a TSV. I used it 6 days a week for 90 days and did not see any change. I am 59 yrs old and was hoping to see tightening in my lower cheek area, but unfortunately did not. I sent it back.

I have been using it 6 days and I do see positive changes. Is is temp or permanent at this point? I would say temp. But that's okay I'm giving it time. My biggest areas of concern are this turkey gizzard looking thing hanging from my neck, and I am getting my mom's hooded, crepy eyes. In the 6 days, my eyes are lifted and my eye lids are smoother. I bought it and am giving it the full 90 days before I make a decision to return. I did a lot of reading up on this product from quite a few different sites and forums. Just like they reiterated over and over in the presentation, you HAVE to stick with it. "Don't buy if you don't want to make the commitment daily" was stated over and over So I have committed to making time daily to use it. While I would LOVE to see results in 30 days, realistically, I would expect to see something by Christmas. That will have been almost 60 days. They mentioned in one of the presentations and on a lot of the review sites, if you are feeling tingling, you may not be applying enough of the gel. I know, when doing my neck, if I don't get gel all the way to the hairline at the neck and roll the nuface there, I definitely feel it. I am not using their gel. I am using plain old aloe vera gel from Walmart. I read lots of posts from people using the gel that came with it, and they complained it was messy and some people got break outs, so a lot of people switched to the Aloe Vera. At 44, i seem to get worse acne flare ups NOW than i did at 16. SO i was not taking any chances.

I have gotten redness on my forehead, but I think that is me pushing to hard to lift. It will come with practice. Hope this helps. This was an investment for me this time of year with the holidays coming, but for every 1 negative review I read, I read 10 that were glowing from people that have been using it and continue to use it and would never be without it. So I am hoping to be one of the 10. Good luck!!

I have a question. Is anyone afraid of using NuFace and other types of these micro current machines??? In investigating these types of machines that use mirco current

before I bought one (even though I did send it back) it seems that there is a worry

they can cause heart attacks or heart arrhythmias!!! Plus it is said that anyone that

has thyroid issues should not use, even if you are not using on the throat.

It seems quite scary for sure don't you think???

ARE THERE any Lifting Skin Care Products that really work so we don't need to use these face machines?
