Hi. Sephora is having their yearly 20% off. Evening everything is fair game. Fragrance, high end brands etc etc. I always look forward to this time so I can get my xmas list ready for my loved ones. .. what are you getting?

I want --the Becca shimmering skin perfector (and possibly one of their foundations), Nars virtual domination cheek palette, 2or 3 Nars Audacious lipsticks which are better than any I have ever tried including Tom Ford, Anastasia brow wiz pencils for backup, Laura Mercier lip pencil in Plumberry, Marc Jacobs brush. I do not have a fragrance list as I typically get those from other online sources like fragrancenet, etc., that I find less expensive even after the 20% off Sephora discount. Is the sale next week?

I received a card in the mail on Friday. I think you have to have the card or the online code to receive the 20% off.

I have mostly things I use all of the time in my cart that I want to replenish. I just hope they are still there when I want to purchase them on the 6th.

Cardamom, it starts this Thursday through the 11th, I believe. OP, I have some backup foundation (tarte), foreo luna mini, beauty blender, and a couple of other small things or backup items I hate paging full price for!

I believe the party is only for Rouge members. I'm a VIB, and my card had no mention of a party for VIB's. In the past, it had all the party details included. Just FYI.

I've been waiting for this, too, but it will only be 15% for BIs, whereas beauty.com is having a 20% off Friends and Family promo this week for everyone. If you're not signed up for their e-mails, you might want to do so before the sale starts Tuesday (goes through Friday).

I only buy two things from Sephora any more and they have been 'Out Of Stock' for over 2 months for both products. I am on an email list for when they are back in stock. I'm not counting on it though.

Luckily, I found one product is offered at Beautydotcom and they are having a 20% off sale.

Most likely I will be posting my codes here for someone else to take advantage of.

I am only a BI so will be getting the 15% off. I will be buying the new Blinc Black lash primer since I can't find it anywhere else right now. Other than that, I will be making all my other purchases from Beauty.com's F&F sale with 20% off (plus Sephora doesn't carry Mally or Laura geller and a few other brands I like). If Beauty.com carried the new primer, I'd get it there instead but right now they just don't have it yet.

Am I the only one who thinks all these different "levels" of membership and perks and all this secrecy each year about who will be included and invited and what discount they'll get is just absurd and almost insulting?

There is very little, if anything, that I can't get elsewhere on sale or with a promo code without fretting about the mysteries of Sephora's sales.

nope, not the only one at all. The points you make are a few of the reasons I don't shop at Sephora even close to what I use to. It use to be so easy and simple- no games, no different levels, no jumping through hoops. Now it has just gotten ridiculous and silly.

Suzy, I'm one who has spent enough at Sephora stores to attain the upper tier Rouge status. Having said that I couldn't agree more with your comments -- particularly about being able to get many of the brands they sell from retailers who offer discounts codes and special pricing deals throughout the year.

Sephora should halt the silly tier nonsense and just go back to calling all members of their loyalty program Beauty Insiders.
