I'm on the fence about isomers TTV . I love and use all of their serums but just purchased the last TTV with the Matrixyl 20%. What is the difference between all the Matrixyls. I don't really need or will I use anything else in the kit. Most all of the moisturizers break me out. Is the blend of the 3 Matrixyls really worth it? Does it make that much of a difference? Thanks in advance for your help!

I think Isomers is just getting too many products... it gets to the point where I just turn her off with all the explanations of what does what and this and that and bla bla bla. I use Matrixyl.... but to need three different ones in a kit? Forget it.

I noticed a big boost to my skincare using the 20% Matrixyl in the past. Not so much this time around on the huge vat I just purchased on a previous TTV. I was hoping this would last me for awhile. My skin may just be getting all it needs and I may need an extra boost of something else. Always loved the ARC serum too.

Persephonel...let me add one of the reason I do use the matrixyl is because I can not use retinoids which are suppose to be the best arsenal for aging skin. So this is the next best thing for super sensitive skin.

I have no idea who else was grandfathered into that agreement. If NCN is formulating with Matrixyl, they were either grandfathered in by Sederma, or they are buying the ingredient from another supplier who was grandfathered in.

In the agreement with P&G over the original Matrixyl (not 3000 or Synthe'6) Sederma was only allowed to continue selling SMALL amounts of the raw Matrixyl ingredient to other companies. The exception is companies like Isomers who were already formulating with it before the agreement was put in place. Those companies were allowed to continue to purchase the larger amounts directly from Sederma without written permission from P&G. That's why Manuela always explains that being grandfathered in is the reason they can formulate with such high concentrations, like the 20%, because they are able to purchase large amounts of the raw Matrixyl directly from Sederma. Plus, without having to go through P&G, it's probably also much cheaper. So, it could be that NCN was also grandfathered in, only purchases their Matrixyl in small amounts from Sederma, or purchases it through a P&G supplier in order to obtain larger amounts.

We also know that Isomers states they always formulate with at least the minimum recommended use %. According to Sederma, the recommended use level of Matrixyl 3000 is 3% to 8% and the recommended use level of Mayrixyl Synthe 6 is 2%. Since the Adv. Serum contains 10% of Matrixyl, the total % of all three types should equal 15% to 20% or more.

so what is meant by the "20%" in the title of the product?

This is from the Isomers description of Matrixly Advanced:
Matrixyl Advanced contains

Matrixyl targets deep wrinkles & dermal matrix (plumps skin)

Matrixyl 3000 targets wrinkles and hydration (smooths surface)

Synthe-6 (targets expression lines).

Adding: I don't believe Isomers has disclosed the ratios of the 3 forms of Matrixyl in this blend.

I know NCN's is 25%.

I don't think Isomers has advised the total % of the 3 formulas of Matrixyl in the TTV Serum. We know that the % of Matrixyl included is 10%. We also know that Isomers states they always formulate with at least the minimum recommended use %.
