topic need more hold in Beauty

I am a new WEN user (going on two months). I have very thick wavy/curly hair and am using the SAM sc and GP CC. My hair has a ton of volume, but I need more hold than I am getting with the SC. I use 8-10 pumps of the cream. I have tried using my old favorite, Carol's Daughter hair milk, but now hate the way my hair looks. Any advice on how to get more hold with the styling cream?
