Question about It cosmetics foundation problem?

I had an It foundation compact and found it very frustrating to use because of a film that developed on it. I had to use something to scrape it off just to get product on the brush. Does anyone know if this foundation does the same thing?

I could be wrong, but I think that problem was tracked to bad batch and rectified well before the illumination version was introduced.

Funny you should mention that ! I had to scrape mine off with tweezers this morning or I could get nothing on the brush.

I saw on a video if you use a clean mascara spooly it will take the film off the foundation.

Mom todogs, yes I was doing that, but wasted a lot of product by doing so. I was just hoping that they fixed that problem before I go ahead and order the tsv.

Mine too. I had to scrape off layers. I'll stick with the CC. I should not have to work that hard for my make up.

I have to scrape for each use, but I wanted to try the newer version. Was hoping it was just a bad batch. Still decided on the TSV or the laura geller balance and brighten.

This happened to me with the Sweet Apple Blush. Never happened to the other blushes though.

I always thought that "film" was caused by the brush transferring moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. from our face to the foundation. Tricolor's experience with SAB, makes me question that now.

I've had this happen with other compacts & it's from the oils on your face building up from using the brush from face to compact.
