Has anyone received the Oct shipment (4th & last) of last year's Nov TSV, Glamour Now? Mine's due to ship Oct. 25 and I'm trying to decide if I want to get it or skip it, esp. since there will be a new Nov TSV coming soon. I'm intrigued about a couple of the colors, Romp (iridescent lilac) and NEW Shade (smoky violet). Now is "Shade" the name of the color or is it a 'new shade'? I love purples and wondered if I should let the last one ship??

It's just a new shade, I think. I think they didn't have the name when they released the info on the tsv. Also, the date for everybody's has been pushed back to the 25th so unless somebody got really lucky, nobody has it yet.

Thanks, Love. Just trying to decide if it's worth it for 2 colors that I prob already have a dupe or very similar shade of!!! And who knows, it may end up at the outlet sometime!

I have never tried any BE eye shadows, but have just learned about the Glimpse ones. Thinking about ordering the green, called Bamboo to try it and see what it is like.

Would anyone like to give me their opinion about this?

Do they go on and wear well? Are the colors true to the look on line colors?

Can you blend them well, and have you ever put them on wet, if so what is that look like ?

Sorry for so many questions, but I watched the brief video Leslie offered with these, and these are most of the points she discussed.

Funny, but I haven't yet put a shadow on wet, I assume I'll make a mess of it.

I have very dry skin, am fair, and have a lot of early crow's feet and fine lines. I can't wear the very shiny look as my eyelids are starting to look a little scaly. Although I love the more irridescent look it's best I stay closer to a more matte or soft look, but in doing so I don't want to give up color, because I am so fair. Oh, I have red hair and brown eyes if that helps.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated !

I'm very appreciative of anyone who takes the time and effort to respond. It's so hard to

find a new Holy Gail product to add to your arsenal, and costly to keep tossing out bad idea's ! Thanks.

Hi, Remee. Welcome. Many knowledge ladies here who can help you. I don't think I have bamboo. I, too, like the more shimmery e/c's. Yes, the colors wear well and blend even better. I used an eye primer from BE (bareMinerals) and that helps. Many times I would say, no, the colors don't always look like the online colors or sometimes even in-the-pot-color!! If you get the chance, swatch the colors yourself. For example, the Girl Friend kit had a pink and a 'blue' in it. b.f.f. is a pink pearl color that I didn't think was any big deal but I LOVE it after getting a sample. the k.i.t. e/c is dark steel gray, but I liken it to a dark blue. The Ready line of e/c's have good color pay-off; a little goes a long way. You can line w/the loose colors wet or dry, take any loose shade and use it wet. I've lined w/a Ready color but have not tried it wet. All different ways. Some I've heard use as a blush or even mix and make nail polish.

Hi Remee. I love bare minerals eye shadows. They blend beautifully! When applied wet, the colors seem more intense then when applied dry. The first time I tried to use them wet, I used too much water and I did not like it at all. I'm glad I tried again, because the color payoff is definitely worth it. It is hard to judge colors online because the screen on which you are viewing can change how it looks. If you have a bare minerals boutique, sephora, or ulta near you it may be helpful to visit one, they can help you choose colors that will be flattering. HTH

I have bamboo and love it. It's a soft green. I love colors though. The glimpses have a little bit of shimmer to them but the glimmers are the ones with a lot more. I have worn my eye colors wet. I like it well enough, but I just usually can't be bothered because I don't get a lot of time to play anymore. My kids are both in middle school and sports now so I get my butt kicked trying to get them to everything lol. P.S. The glimpses are more sheer than the eye shadows and the glimmers by the way. HTH
