Real Techniques expert face brush. I also use this for ALL my liquid or cream foundations. I have 3 of these. They are super easy to care for as well. I wash them with dawn, rinse well than let them drain hanging brush facing down with a strong magnet on the fridge door over night, works like a charm and ready to use the next day.

I ordered some brushes on a whim from Amazon by Me GooDo, obviously Chinese, lol. They were an add-on, variety, set of 5 for face, in purple for $8 something. They look like a Real Technique dupe. Didn't have much to lose, so I bought them.

Gotta say, they are really similar to Real Technique. I like them so much and ordered a bunch more for Xmas gifts.

I don't use liquids, so I can't speak for those, but they hold and deposit product, both pressed powder (my blush) and loose minerals really well. They're moderately dense. Not like a kabuki. Love the flat bottoms..........sorry, that made me giggle. But I like that they stand on their own.

My very favorite brushes are by Bare Minerals/Escentuals. The regular foundation brush or the Mineral Veil brush are great for applying powder of any kind. But especially the angled foundation brush which I use for blush also. And the two-sided eye shadow brush is fantastic.

My holy grail of makeup brushes is Ecotools. They hold their shape and stay soft after cleaning them. They also don't shed.

http://www.eco-tools.com/brushes
