I count on the forum to provide me with knowledgable honest info. How does Spackle compare with BE primer and Dhc Velvet Touch. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

I haven't tried the others you mentioned by I've tried Laura's and they do nothing for me but primers in general don't make any difference for me so i guess my opinion isn't saying much, lol.

It might help others give you some idea what might work best for you if you say what type of skin you have?

I have tried the BE primer; I didn't like it because it made my face sting. I have tried Laura's Tinted (Bronze) Spackle; I didn't like it because it was an odd consistency, and it made me have a creepy, ghoulish glow, but I gave it to a friend who looks great in it. I do love Laura's Neutralizer Spackle. If I am using her Balance-N-Brighten or Bronze-N-Brighten for a more "finished" look, I mix a tiny dab (1/4") each of Neutralizer and her Original before applying either foundation. If I am going more "natural," I use the Neutralizer Spackle as my foundation. I don't know how her Spackles would work with liquid foundation though. I use 100%, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil as my facial moisturizer, and the Spackle works quite well, after allowing the oil to absorb for a couple of minutes. I think HappyDaze is correct in mentioning that we might be more helpful if you gave a bit more information.

I've tried several versions of Spackle, two versions of the BE primer, and Mally's primer. I haven't tried the DHC primer.

I found that Spackle didn't do much for me. It didn't really smooth my skin, make my makeup go on more smoothly, or extend the wear of my makeup. It left my skin feeling tacky. It was the lightest of the three formulas.

I really like the BE primers. They're thicker than the Spackle, but don't feel heavy. They feel like silk going on and I do notice that they make my makeup go on smoother, last longer, and better resist shine.

Mally's primer is the thickest of the three. It feels a little heavier, but doesn't feel too heavy and it's not suffocating. It leaves my skin smooth and increases the wear of my makeup. It also does a good job of reducing shine. Mally's primer can react poorly with some moisturizers and cause pilling.
